Thank you very much for your words and your channel! The city I am from is tightly connected with Yud-Tes Kislev - Rosh HaShanah of Chassidim. Every stone here remembers the day of Kislev 19, 1798, when Rabbi Shneur Zalman, Alter Rebbe, was miraculously released from the fortress (it happened twice). The central river Neva in StPetersburg has been preserving this sacred moment since the 18th century, being warmed by the energy of Alter Rebbe. Ancient Hasidic culture of Galut revived by Motty Steinmetz from oblivion of the Second World War and Holocaust responds to my family’s spirit, memory of the Second World War and Blockade. The album «Atik Yomin» (2022) ─ great spiritual and researching work of Motty Steinmetz, his dedication to Holocaust, where every sound is crying out from the ashes! These songs miraculously survived during the Holocaust and were brought to life by Motty Steinmetz and his family. We cherish the memory of those, who suffered during that evil time, we pray for Israel and join Motty’s ancient-days songs, which are now also living in our hearts forever.
