MWXC Round 1 "Swamp Rat Run" Race Vlog. The very first race Vlog of 2024. I changed up the style of the video for the race vlog so I hope you like it. It ended up being a beautiful day for a race in early March. We made the jump up to B class so it's definitely going to be a learning year. What did we learn 😂😂 Bummer about the flat but it happens live and learn and let it be the last time. It can always be worse thats for sure. Track looked fun can’t believe the dust in the fields.

I learned that by ignoring the lack of tireballs, I never got a flat. Then once I started thinking about it, I got a flat lol. Yeah, it’s crazy to have a somewhat dusty race in the first week of March.

@@ononewheel7 yeah, I’ve never thought about it cause I’ve never had flats. But once it happens, then it becomes pretty obvious. Needless to say, I’ll always be thinking about it on any new builds

Too much can go wrong riding with a flat. I am glad you can out fine with no injuries or damage to your quad. Nice comeback after lengthy pit stop.

I like to run a lot of compression and a fast rebound. Our #1 overall champ here in Michigan for the last 4 years helped me set up my shicks, and it was a game changer.

Are you using some type of hand wrap between your fingers? If so, what’s the advantage?

They are the risk racing palm protectors. They provide an extra layer of padding and reduce blisters on your hands.

@@TylerMcNabb137 Do they actually work well or is it more of a just in case? Only asking because I get more knuckle blisters than palm blisters. Not sure why 🙄
