This contract is a bitch! The way I completed it solo was taking the contract in the northern part of the map. The 3 extractors land amongst tight buildings and staircases, keeping the mercs close together. Using the 6 shot grenade launcher and a precision airstrike I took them all out in no time. The contract location in this video is very challenging because the mercs have a wide space to maneuver on you. I hope that helps!

Hahaha... yeah it's tough as a solo... I try moving light with maybe 1 heavy (Rarity, pack-a-punch Weapon) and a light smg or knife even, bcuz they do flank and maneuver..some smoke for hitting the extractor and stuns help. Shooting a few from distance . And MOVING FAST... that's how I do it. Any other way tends to get me killed in tier 1 zone... that's, thaat the aether spore contract in tier 3 is easier if you keep moving and shooting ...

Unfortunately for us that have completed part of the mission and didn't receive that schematic,it's bugged for us and we have to wait for an update. You can try solo,but I highly doubt it'll work. Ive already tried around 40 times and still no luck, so unfortunately our progress is halted until the big update which isnt until season 1 launch

UPDATE!!! You have to complete this contract on solo. I just tried it myself for the 1st time after 40 tries with squads. It will only work on solo

The game was glitched out so bad, the animation objective wasn't even disarming the main aether launch. You had to fight the mercenaries, fend off the zombies, and then fight the glitched disarm sequence. Tried countless times since the game came out and I'm still having difficulty

Yeah its kinda clunky bro... You have to get close to the interface part of the rocket.. theres a little interface panel. And if you try to (overload it) from the wrong side, you won't get the prompt. And if you activate the overload you have to keep holding it close to the front side of the rocket or else IT WILL, glitch out.. if you manage to hold it, you can even crouch and go prone after, just don't move too far and don't stop holding the button prompt which is like [X] or [□] on console... (CROUCHING and going PRONE helps make you into a smaller hit-box and makes it harder for the enemy to hit you)

dont know... ive tried to solo this few times but always fail, there is simply not enough time. Merchs shred you just too fast and it doesnt help that it is also buggy, when you try to overload rocket it fills the bar, but doesnt actually overload it. I gotta test if smokes work against merchs, then it could be possible solo, just smoke and overload rockets twice, since it bugs first time.

Take time with mercs first, overload 1 rocket then move on, use aether shroud field upgrade if you want to have a escape.

I done this forgot to kill helicopter didn’t get aether tool schematics did another just to blow helicopter and canceled contract after blowing helicopter lol now have to do third time to finish in again and hopefully get my schematics

Maybe its bugged? In the schematic crafting tab under aetherium it should unlock the first option uncommon aether tool.

it’s best to do it over and try again, the game will give it to you. it should be a 100% chance, but the game just came out so it’ll have bugs

@@IPossessThePowerYT I just had to keep redo'n it. It finally worked. Now if it would just stop stealing items from bag after exfil. I just exfilled with a full bag of perks. Get back to main screen and my bag only has 2 things in it. ammo mods, perk cans, and crystals. Just completely gone. It's happened alot. I've lost so much stuff. Apparently it's been happening alot to others as well.

Not about being good, it's about being lucky. MERCS are OP especially running solo. If they have Shields then it's game over. I usually try and make sure I'm rocking 2-3 revive kits

you gotta shoot the helicopter that drops the mercenaries in the aether extractor contract the one with the rockets.. once completed all 3 rockets there will be a purple orb to collect the schematic

@@Kyezaa. ya I found that out. But for some reason after I complete the contract, after checking all boxes. I see the schematic in the reward rift. I press Stow and close rift. Open my bag and it's not there. No schematics whatsoever. Happened 2× in a row. I guess I'm just gonna keep trying. Lol.
