Sweet looking RV!! Know you two will be so happy when it is all finished and moved in. Great vision of what you wanted to make it your own! We are traditional also but really love the look of yours with the offsetting contrast of colors! Nice Vision and Great choices! Almost teases me to get one of these...LOL!! Do you have a water softener? We have the double On The Go for ours which really helps keep our shower walls cleaner and we squeegee our shower walls after our showers. That is a very good-looking home-on-wheels. I love all the changes you've made to the FW and the color scheme looks inviting and relaxing too. I also love the Insignia stove and we so want to replace our existing top 3-burner and stove option with that exact model stove. I wasn't sure what you were talking about with that extra 6 inches removed from the kitchen until you showed the cutout in the garage. It looks like you have more than adequate storage throughout the coach, which is awesome too. Can't wait to see how it looks after you make the other upgrades and the rest of the cabinets are installed. We have a 2020 Riverstone 38RE and we removed the round dinette and put in a desk that seats two people easily so we didn't really lose any eating space, but gained a lot of computing space and a couple more drawers for office supplies.

I was wondering the same thing. They added a bunch of cabinets in the garage for them, why couldn't they do it next to the couch and fridge?

When we started the design we asked DRV to move the fridge. They said that created a floor plan change and they couldn't do it. So Alicia deleted the fridge and said she could accomplish it after the build. We weren't sure what fridge we would get, so we waited until it was delivered to build the front. We also decided to wait until we could get a better feel for the interior before we built the appliance cabinet. The guys at Rolling Retreats are really good at what they do and we have all the confidence that it will turn out great.

Exterior looks great. Nice window awnings. No slide toppers? Basement doors don’t go all the way up? Spice rack doesn’t seem very convenient. Cabinets in garage are great. Well that's why God made us all different Bob! We didn't order slide toppers - they flap in the wind and make noise. The basement doors have always been on gas struts, so not sure what you mean and Kellie is thrilled with her new spice rack. She's gorgeous! I love the inside coloring. It really makes a difference, and having the extra windows in the livingroom. Will your new microwave be used for baking, and roasting (micro convection)? Having the new cabinet over by the extra windows will make for great appliance storage. OMG, now that's a spice cabinet. Y'all really thought this plan out. Did I tell you I love it!!! Gotta have a king bed, we love ours. We have a problem with placing hubbies CPap machine next to our bed Right now we open the closet, and place it on the floor inside the closet. This causes the hoses to be a tad short when it comes to his mask. We'll be making a special drop down shelve with a lip to hang off the wall next to his side of the bed. I agree with you on having windows on the pop out for the cross breeze in the bedroom with the fan. I'm happy for you both on getting your dream rig. Will you be sharing your final changes when done? I'd love to see them 😊

I've been looking at some of your other videos as I am a new subscriber, and just found out that there is a FullHouse that is the same plan as your first fifth wheel. It only has a 10ft garage, but I'm going to check and see if a smart car will fit. That would be great.

I thought I was sold on the JX450, but when you toured the JX390 with that huge walk in pantry, wow. My only concern would be having the W/D in the garage, maybe the smart car wouldn't fit. Or maybe Alicia could do her magic and put the W/D in the bathroom. I think the JX390 would be amazing in the Irish Cream. Have a blessed week. P.S. Hi Greg. DRV stated that moving the fridge was a floorplan change and would have to go through engineering, but with COVID and other issues at the time they didn't have the manpower or time to accomplish that. Getting close to retirement and what to live full time in an RV. I have question. Why not buy your 5th wheel from place that lets you design everything you like. I do love this RV. Love the colors inside and outside. Thanks for sharing

We shopped quite a bit Rick and narrowed it down to 4 manufacturers. It all came down to price and service after the sale for us. DRV did a great job with the modifications we wanted but wouldn't do them all. That's why we chose the dealer we have - they are making the changes we wanted that the factory wouldn't accomplish.

Absolutely beautiful. ❤️ My favorite change is relocating the refrigerator. It now will be more accessible from kitchen, there's room for a coffee bar, and it made it so more windows could be added.

With all your customization why did you choose to have some cabinet work not completed at the factory?

A couple of reasons Kevin. First, DRV wouldn't move the fridge to the front for us, so we had to delete the fridge and purchase a new one. We weren't sure what fridge we were going to install so we had to wait and see what our measurements would be. Also, we wanted to see the interior in person before we designed our new cabinets. The guys in the shop here at Rolling Retreats are really good at what they do, so we purchase the lumber and trim to allow them to build the added cabinets. We're really hoping once DRV sees our final project they'll create a new floor plan that's similar.

LOL...yes, we love our new rig. We don't have a washer/dryer for a couple of reasons. We like to boondock a lot and the gray water is an issue with a W/D. Also, we find that we can go into a laundromat every few weeks and get all our loads done in an hour or so. We're also a little concerned with weight. Thanks for coming along.
