Great video! I especially liked the picture in picture view of you talking as you work. Pretty scenery as well! Looking forward to seeing future work that you do with that tractor.

Appreciate that! I have some short crowning and a dump truck load to do early in the morning Tmrw... Just have to get through the 4 hour shifts tonight bottle feeding kittens. It's gonna be a coffee morning!

Good video, always nice to see more Kubota content. The audio did have some music in the background that was distracting in a few places.
@larrydoesschtuff2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. A lot less music in the future so I don't have to deal with copyrights, royalties etc. anyway. Probably rather just hear some engine sounds anyway :-)

PS... working on another one now with the roof off and some other wiring/rigging. Taking a while with other work to do.

Kubota has armrests for that seat. I like mine.

I ordered armrests with the tractor but they have yet to come in. World shortage of armrests or on a ship at sea somewhere 😂

Have you thought of having your gravel dumped a little closer to your work?😂. Nice review.

🤣 ain't that the truth! Always wanted to store a couple piles for quick repairs. Small, local DOT 👍

@@larrydoesschtuff your tractor is set up so sweet! It’s how I wanted mine with the rear hydraulics but parts 6 months on backorder I decided to just pick up the tractor - dealer gave it to me with some parts in boxes to install on my own- the rear working lights and the side mirrors. Love the Kubota! It’s a great machine!

@@gentzrayamcclellan6401 I ha e some more wiring to do interior a d some better work lights but I learned one lesson before... Get as much as you want on it while you can. Now I just need some more time to rig!

What did the mx6000 end up costing you in this exact setup?
@larrydoesschtuff2 жыл бұрын
Hey Dylan, I'll break it down best I can... I ordered a lot of extras and some other implements, insurance, tax, financing etc. are the other part but use Kubota's "Build it" feature and you will be pretty close on. I got this priced and locked in December and Kubota increased some percentage January 1, 22. Cab, Loader/loader valve, Third function, Heavy duty bucket w/ bolt on edge, 3 stacked remotes on rear, rear wiper kit, rear window defogging glass, drawbar, arm rests (They haven't arrived yet, 42" pallet forks, 7 pin trailer connector, upgrade to 130 amp alternator, side mirror kit, .... less the third function kit, it prices out around $55,300. Tax rate depending on your state's rate then apply some rebates I would say $54-55K is a good number equipped like it is (Less the boxscraper). Financing or cash changes and under financing there is the Kubota insurance (which is pretty incredible) that would all depend on cash or how many years you finance.

PS... and spending a few more bucks on amber lighting, replacing a couple work lights to bigger/broader LEDs, radio, and schtuff. I have the roof off the cab right now redoing some things and working on a video of all of that fun part

I just got a MX6000 with cab, 72" HD box blade, 72" HD brush cutter, loader. And 20 foot trailer for 55k. They threw in a radio and filled the tires up too.

@@thedutchmaster63 that's a really good deal! Who did you buy it from? How do you like it so far?
@thedutchmaster63 Жыл бұрын
@@jeshualee2711 I bought it from Steen Enterprises in Ravenel SC. I absolutely love it. The tractor has a ton of power. The cab is very roomy and comfortable (I'm 6'5 280 and I'm comfy). The implements are Land Pride and are pretty solid so far. I've only put about 80 hours on it but so far it's been amazing

I'm looking at this tractor for a 20 acre hay farm. In your opinion, would it do the job given PTO HP and tractor weight?
@larrydoesschtuff2 жыл бұрын
Assuming you don't have any implements that recommend higher HP... When I bushhog with it I laugh a little bit at the lack of bogging down. If you want to see anything closer on it just send me a message. If you do buy one, check out this video if you get a cab kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6Cwf56ufr-af5Y

Great video, Larry! I also own an MX6000 and IMO The MX6000 is really fantastic for loader work. I believe the MX6000 is still one of the largest tractors in the current Kubota line up that still offers a hydrostat? Any higher up into the full M series and you'll be rowing gears. It'll bail spear all day long and spoil you quickly. Haying out in the field might warrant a good look at a bigger M series.
