Josh Mosiman is one of the key media test riders in the sport and you can find him on camera and on the bike over at the MXA KZbin Channel. Josh had a short pro career before turning his attention to the media side of the sport and has been going from strength to strength ever since! We talk 2024 bikes, Glen Helen, Technique and much more in this awesome episode of the podcast.
Before we get into this episode though, I wanted to share with you some awesome news regarding our first ever race, the Gypsy Tales 500.
Vurbmoto and Gypsy Tales are putting on an 8hr Grand Prix style event in Mesquite, NV. Using one of Gypsy’s favourite events, Australia’s Transmoto series, as inspiration, this will be an 8hr team or solo (for the Savages) race with your boys (or girls). The course will consist of a tamed down moto track and off-road loop, averaging 20 min lap times. The goal? Have fun, kick some beers and race your buddies. It’s worth noting this is a 125cc and Up race, no mini bikes allowed.
As far as the course goes, it will be part moto, part off-road - Sunday’s loop will be a unique course with an average lap time of 20 minutes. The loop will include terrain for the average rider along with a tamed down motocross track with no mandatory jumps. Again, this is a vibe race and will be built for all rider disciplines.

Fuck I love when people talk characteristics of cars and bikes. They've got their own personalities but it takes a special person to tell us regular riders what it's saying.

Discussion about air forks was interesting. Im a long time yamaha guy, but I bought a 23 ktm 300 sx and I love the forks, love being able to tune them with air pressure, dont mind checking the pressure at all, only takes a minute. My yamahas always get real soft in just a few hours, do I need stiffer springs? Do I need to get the valving shims replaced? I just dont have any issues tuning the wp 48's and I know what I need to do with them from one track to the next. I generally find that air frork haters know little about basic suspension tuning ,aren't even familiar with the concept of increasing oil volume to reduce bottoming..it always has to be revalved, have to get a spring conversion for their airforks...meanwhile their shock is a pogo stick because its never been serviced and the oil is cooked...and they have 8 psi in their tyres because they never check tyry pressure..I see this all the time

Josh oopses in his assertion that he had the fastest lap time on the 250. I’d remembered that the fastest was the 350, so I went and rewatched the video. He was fastest on the 350 and it was .85 faster than the 250. He was way slower on the 450. 2.88 seconds slower than the 350.

Great interview as a fellow Christian who loves Supercross and motorcross just want to Thank you for staying true to your faith it’s a gnarly industry to be a part of, one of the greatest commandments is to have no other God and it is a balance to keep God Centre and bikes in their place. Doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy them and the friendships you build up out on the trails or paddock , Still thing they should make cologne that smells like race fuel. 😂

He's 100% right about GasGas, they don't make sense anymore. They downgraded components and increased the price. They're in no man's land now. Either pony up for a KTM or go with one of the Japanese offerings.

@@drewobanion3018good for you What do you believe in? Why do you believe in it? And how has it affected your life? When I was asked that question about 7 years ago my answer was that I believe in choices, and I believe in them because everyone has to make them, and my belief in choices affects my life since each choice I make will lead to a different outcome. Today is just say god and because my family raised me that way, and it’s affected my Life positively for the most part.
