Go for it! You can do what I did and just sort of impulse buy a uke and started playing the really hard chords first because you were an ambitious little brat when you were like 13 and you just kept playing the hard notes until you got it down so that when you got to the really easy notes, like C, you were a freaking master. You could play almost any song you wanted! Just don't let other people tell you what to do. Take their advice, but make and create your own style. Explore strumming patterns, kapo placings on songs, and just please for the love of anything, have fun with it! You play music for a reason, it might be to inspire, create, bring joy, self-confidence boost, anything, but if you are just doing it for the sake of doing it and you aren't having fun, then you just might as well stop going. You have to find joy in what you do to make it beautiful!

Alyssa Coleman all you gotta do is buy a ukulele and watch some tutorials on KZbin, at least that’s what I did. Your fingers might get really sore and it might be hard to sing and strum at first, but you get the hang of it. Anyways, I really hope you learn! It’s a very fun and beautiful instrument! :)
