Hey, it's Barcia, and it's just the way he rides. He pins the throttle and goes for it. Sure the engine gets a workout but at least he is getting the most out of the power coming from that 4 stroke. I used to hate the thoughts of and the sound of a 4 stroke having ridden one most of my life and dreaming of riding a 2 stroke like MC and Emig; however, now I am starting to like them. Got a lot of power there...barely twist the throttle and heeeeere we goooooo!!!

@haydugjr392 I'm trying to get the new Thunder Valley track on that, the one they have posted is so out dated I have trouble figuring out what jump is supposed to be what. Having trouble with the height mapping and all that. Doesn't make it any easier because of the fact it's on the side of a mountain.

@jwctex14 Do the local pros do 30minutes? Not to mention these guys show up for a few days and are the same speed on the track as people who've ridden there their whole lives :D. Those tracks get nasty too, sometimes I can't tell if something is a small rythyem section or braking bumps on TV lol. My dad rode one once (pro national) and said he was slowing down before turns then doubling/tripling braking bumps to keep from getting tired so quickly.

@MxRider721 actually if you recall, the yz250f actually had a 11,000 RPM rev limiter. they can take the abuse. especially a 250f. infact, if you watch a review of the 250f (CRF, YZF, KXF, RMZ) they say thats were they like to be is right on the top. and that the 250f doesnt have as big of a low end hit. Just sayin'

@haydugjr392 They made some major changes to Thunder Valley and closed the track for a month or so before the pros got there. Turns out that they were braking bumps. I had to go check the track after the race. I thought the bumps were whoops. Silly me. Haha.

A factory tuned 450 is capable of around 62hp. Monster Pro circuit Kawi 250 pumps out 50hp. And race gas has nothing to do with hp its used for detonation purposes.

they do not put a new motor in then. at the end of each race the bikes and motors are broken down and clean and inspected every nut and bolt. if there is wear the part is replaced. they dont build 200k bikes to replace the motor every weekend. you guys have to rwmember whole tes hé is riding it hard but the parts on the bike are the best money can buy and are put together and inspected by the best.

@haydugjr392 I know, those triples are huge. the smallest in the 2011 series was 70ft. I've ridden Thunder Valley, slowly :P, and I have watched the local pros hit that track. It must have been how bad the track got, but normally the local pros have the same if not faster lap time then the top 450 guys did at the National.

lol, hes not hitting his rev limiter on the straights, hes revs his bike right before a turn so when he pops the clutch he can accelerate faster out of the turn, and idk how u dont like the sound you must not be a 4 stroke guy

@jdirtbiker1 I doubt it has anymore than 5 more hp than a regular stock 250, they can't do much to the engine, the race gas doesn't give it any more HP, neither does this so called "ignition stuff" you're talking about, they can only do so much to it. It's just not possible to make a 250f that's AMA legal to have as much HP as a 450, stock or not.
