Frampton - Do you feel like we do was the quintessential talk-box song IMO.

With practice you can form words rather than just wah wah wah wah as in Feel Like I Do by Peter Frampton who is an expert with the talk box. I use the MXR and as you guys said it is really great fun.

Peter Frampton ..Show me the way . his most iconic use..and also sparkys magical piano old school talkbox sound , now the tricky part is to use it to talk through and make word vocal sounds which is quite tricky and demanding on your stomach muscles,,and quite an experience with 30- 100 watt tube amp suddenly being routed through your mouth and rattling the old teeth...great vids..rock on.peace.

Hilarious and fun! Just programmed a patch on my Mobius where with the expression pedal you can sweep the Formant and sort of get there - for a quick bit in a song it can work, but you don't get the same facial expressions!

I've had a Sebro Tubestation for years, I might have to dust it off and get my Bon Jovi on! Great video as always.

If anyone mentions a talkbox the first thing I think of is Peter Frampton. How do you not know that? Frampton comes alive use to come in the mail with samples of Tide.

I built myself one a few years ago using an HF driver from a PA system. It pushed a serious amount of air, I had to be careful not to damage my teeth 😬. Also, not a good look when the audience can see dribble going down the clear tube! Good fun though (in short bursts)

James, don't feel weird about how you described using the talk box. No different than when I was talking about playing with my Johnson on the live stream.
