I bet there’s no response to my question becuase this video was made 10 years ago but how comfortable is bumping in this ring I have a bunch of wood and want to make this same one and am worried about the bumpability in this type of ring

@@dansretrogamingandwrestling could you adjust the length of the board that sinks down and maybe have more give? I realize steel beams are why rings are more comfortable but couldn’t you change the travel of the board and make it sink more or was that where you liked it?

I would have loved to put on the stripes and been referee. Be surprised what a fired up referee can do for a match. Lol in the 80s we had basement matches with alot of paddings..couple ropes...not much. But I was the first of us to gig color during a match. I'll never forget 2 boys hauled ass when I got up screaming " IM HURT DAMMIT!!" AND GRABBED THE FOLDING CHAIR.

I'm not trying to be a hater but this wasn't really that good. I mean I don't even like train to do this stuff. I'd prolly still be better. This was really boring to watch also try to have a more exciting sounding commentator or even two, then make the match more exciting. Do some promos and stuff, you guys got potential but this particular fight was boring as heck

Joseph Hemmen tbf, you couldn't do better, you would take one bump on the ring and run of crying. They were doing hurricanranas and double foot stomps, Wrestleing rings are much, much harder than they look, it's not like a trampoline, that is a hard floor.

Tighten the roaps and you will be able to use them more effectively you wanna be able to lay into them but besides that decenr set up

Need more facial expressions, crowd work, fix up your basic skills else it'll overshadow your flashy rana's and other cool moves That you did. The guy Dan was against needs to neaten up his fundamentals as that dive looked really sloppy. You both need to sell to the crowd and win our care. No disrespect but if this was on an indy show it wouldn't be satisfactory. Both your basics need a lot of work. There was nothing wrong with the structure of your match, slow matches are fine but when the movement is sloppy, that's a different story. But yeah. This just advice coming from someone who works independent shows around the UK including IPW and progress. Hope you guys take something good away from this I'm not trying to bash you guys, I'm loving the passion you guys have. Thanks.
