Our family friends play on switch. They have gottten so frustrated over the herky-jerky camera angles and the static cursor that they just gave up on decorating. It's nice to see someone put in the time and effort to make such cozy spaces on that console. We were a PS4 family until recently, so I empathize with you switch players--especially on the item limits.

I totally relate to that! I haven’t been decorating as much since the previous update changed the decorating and added the static cursor. I’m really hoping the new update changes it back to how it was before when I did most of this decorating - or makes some changes that actually help make it easier for us on controller!

Thank you for this amazing tour and the wonderful presentation. I played a lot of Dreamlight Valley, when it came out, but haven't done much during the last year. Now with the new dlc announced I booted it up again on the weekend and have so many things to do. A perfect companion for playing DDV is watching some valley tours to get inspired by. You did such a wonderful job in your valley and I really appreciated you taking the time to decorate but also to show off your builds for us. Definitely a new fan here. :)

i just got the game for my birthday (on pc) and I am so so so thrilled to see how much more there is to come!! space and decoration wise!! I really hope that the castles, rapunzel's tower etc. are part of the base game :D and also the parks houses!!! the haunted mansion and tower of terror?? so awesome!

Hey! Welcome to Disney Dreamlight Valley and happy belated birthday! 🥳 Some of the castles you saw in this tour are from the Premium Shop which are additional houses you can purchase using moonstones (real world money). This is the case for The Haunted Mansion house and the Tower of Terror (which is actually just a faux building item that you cannot go inside like a house). The items in the Premium Shop randomly rotate each week. Rapunzel and her Tower are sadly locked behind the DLC, Rift in Time, but it’s lots of fun once you’ve progressed your valley. Am I the only person who put Beast's Castle in the Frosted Heights? 😆It instantly seemed the most logical place to me, but after seeing a marathon of valley tours (with a 100% placement rate of Beast's Castle in the Forest of Valor) I realize that for some reason the Forest never occurred to me lol

I think Beast’s Castle looks good in Frosted Heights! I currently have my Forest of Valor set up with most of my princesses. Do whatever suits your valley!

The Figment statute is from a previous Star Path and I’m not sure if it has returned. You may be able to find them both in the Premium Shop.

I was so excited when I read the title, because to this day there is not a single Nintendo Switch Valley Tour video with 3k items only. But then at the very beginning you mention having more items than the item limit on switch... Cute Valley and all but the title is a bit misleading ngl /: I wish one day someone will make one for us fellow Switch players who can't play on PC to turn off item limit.

I have never played on PC. Everything has been fully done on the Switch so the title is not misleading. The only reason my item count is technically going over 3k is because of resources spawning which I can’t control. When I clean up my valley (pick up wood, flowers, spices), it is under the 3k item limit (items I have placed). The resources continue to spawn regardless. I also haven’t seen much inspiration for a full valley on Switch either, that’s why I wanted to share mine.
