My favorite thing to do with this build is to make assassination targets commit suicide out of the blue. It's more rewarding in loot and exp if I killed everyone in the building, but quite often assassinations are part of a vendetta, and I think witnessing your boss lose his mind and possibly turn his guilt inward sends a more terrifying message not to cross my client.

If you use the tech rippler deck you can basically make everyone commit not alive because it makes ultimate hacks chain I used to use it to turn every mission into an impromptu PUBG match by hitting everyone with cyberpsychosis.

I enjoyed netrunner on my launch playthrough. It was a stealth one though. Nothing cooler than parking in my car outside of the mission and just using the camera network to kill everyone in the building without leaving my car.

first time i play a year ago when this game first time release.. i actually consider it to play Net only like watchdogs.. but after reading the skill carefully i get impression that it will be useless lmao (oh boy im wrong) i didnt hit intelligent, quickhack.. what make it more funny i actually came up my self with build cold blood + agility/blade.. instead of shooting, i play it like witcher slash here and there and im immortal basically.. forget why but if im remember it correctly, what make it OP is huge crit chance, infinite stamina (+% each kill), huge armor and res, and infinite Hp (+20% hp each kill) all my weapon is good and op but Blade? is just 1 hit kill.. (with speed up mod at boots

The only two quickhacks I do a bit different in my playthrough are 1. Instead of synapse burnout I'm using reboot optics cuz it allows me to stay unseen as the enemies go blind. And 2. Instead of suicide I use system reset as that allows me to take out more difficult bosses without killing them for a better eddie reward at the end of certain gigs. Really cool build tho

I am of the opposite school - I do not enjoy shooter games thus intelligence netrunner wizard is my style and I have thus been able to enjoy this game and it's story lines immensely. I love it when I can hack a camera system and - "surprise mfs!" - then just walk in and clean up the place. Just feels so much more "civilised".

Great build breakdown, honestly one of the best I've seen. I have over 1400 hours played in the game (some of that time has been idle on pause screens) and like doing 100% runs of completing everything and the builds change up every run. My first play through was tech pistol and I didn't look up any guides and then started trying different play styles after that. I read about how strong the various types of netrunner builds are and held off on trying them. When I finally tried a version of it, I was a believer and saw what people were talking about

When you said "without entering the building" I remembered the time I downloaded a mod that unlocked attachments making it so that you could put silencers on shotguns or smart guns. I then put a silencer on a legendary quasar and pinged a building full of baddies and then proceeded to kill all of them from outside and what shocked me was the penetration capabilities of the gun.

this was exactly how i played watchdogs : legion and it was by far my favourite way to play. just stand posted up at the side of a building with my phone and hacking everything inside taking over drones, malfunctioning turrets, bouncing from camera to camera and when everyones dead just walk inside, grab what i need with literally no resistance, and dip. definitely gonna replicate most of this build

3:40 "critical error" is where having the crit chance perks from higher body or reflexes comes in handy. I haven't tested this a lot yet, but I think that also makes a difference when you add weapon mods to maximize crit chance, be it for melee crits or otherwise. Even a weaker quickhack like Contagion can dish out a ton of damage to groups with perks like these. I'm currently reaching early endgame levelling with most points into tech and int, then body, and a bit into reflexes, but trying to see how it goes with adding zero to cool, and just using the environment and distraction quickhacks to remain undetected when necessary. 🤭 So far it's a lot of fun to become less of a glass canon and more of a teflon canon: gorilla arms, batons, shotguns, tech weapons, and an unfathomable amount of wallhacks. I used two of the street cred outer torso mods most of the early game, to max that out by level 20 or so, and unlock all the good gear. If you find the crafting spec for that street cred mod at any rarity, it's one of the ones which levels toward legendary as you increase your crafting level.

Cool build, I like it. I tried a Netrunner Build recently, it’s pretty tough at the beginning when you don’t have tech guns or good quick hacks as the enemies on Very Hard are much harder after 1.5. Knowing there is a actually a dedicated Armadillo crafting spec somewhere is good as 1.5 removed the dedicated spawn place in Northside.

Seeing the leg cyberware in action actually makes me want to use it, and learning that legendary Pings allows you to hack cameras trough wall is a nice surprise. Already loved my netrunner ninja, now its straight up my best character. (Side note: Stealth netrunner feels like the stealth archer build from skyrim, completely kills most combat challenges). Also, stealth build are the best builds if you just wanna be stylish, since you can usualy clean up any mission without firing (or receiving) a shot.

@@yasserayad6461 Full int and cool with all extra point going in reflex, most ninja and quickhacks perks, some breach perks to get recources for quickhack crafting, and some points to maximize dmg with silencer pistol. Basicaly invisible, and if you get caught you got a whole cyberdeck of options to get out. Dealing with cyberpsychos is most of the challenge of the game with this build, since you can't just make them blow their brains out. Kinda feel like playing Watchdogs actually.

I used Tetratronic Rippler or Stephenson Tech Cyberdeck and stack quickhack cooldown reduction for this build. You can insta-zap everything and have the same quickhack ready for the next one. A tip for slotting quickhack: the order appears when use is in reverse of when you slot them in, so slot what you use most last. Most of the time I can just look and spam use key to quickhack even before the UI pops up. But after 20-25 hrs in with this build breach protocol repetitiveness and the lack of challenge kicked in hard, so I stacked crit, slot in only legendary electrocute, and shotgunning my way (with The Headsman) through everything. Much quicker.

Absolutely spot on with the build videos (all 3 of em). I found it funny that my first (and my favourite) character is a "gunslinger", with very similar specs to your build. I recently started my second character with the next-gen update so I could try out a full on Corpo Hacker. Basically same build as this one but the leftover attributes went into body instead of reflexes. A few differences that I have found very fun and/or useful: I was using a Limbic System Enhancement instead of the Camillo RAM Manager, gives more crit chance. I'll try swapping it out and seeing which one I like better. For Guns I have pretty much the same but I totally overlooked the Omaha, gonna have to check that one thanks! I was using Apparition (Corpo only quest reward), Widowmaker and Lizzie/Quasar. Quasar is easily one of the most powerful pistols (basically a shotgun) and easily craftable.

Memory boost is the most important Frontal Cortex implant because if you Short Circuit someone and it spreads and disables two unaware targets, you get 6 ram back. Your ram deck doesn't need to be 20+ if you can regenerate your ram faster than you can spend it.

The poison-related perks have both been changed- Neurotoxin is now Critical Antidote: Strong attacks and knife throws against poisoned enemies remove the poisoned effect and do instant poison damage instead, with a 100% increased crit chance, and Hasten the Inevitable is now Corrosive Poison: Poison now affects drones, mechs and robots at reduced effectiveness, and you do 20% more damage to poisoned enemies.

I go to 18 instead of 20 and dump those 6 points into Reflexes instead because I really like the assault rifle tree. Might respec and try the tech weapons though, this looks like a fun build!

Sometimes you have no other options but to fight in some missions and when I get hit it really hurts, sometimes even oneshot. Does the Armadillo Mod alone make you tanky enough to survive in gunfights? I haven't tested it yet, because I still change my gear pretty often.

It does help a decent amount for me. However I made this build to sit outside a building and quick hack though walls. Also using stealth to take people down before they notice me. It definitely struggles with a small health pool. I’d say get the armadillo crafting spec and just fill the armor you have, it will help! Also I think I made a mistake in this video that you have to wait to grab the crafting spec, and that’s wrong. The crafting spec levels with your crafting!

Hey Bud - Another great video. I need to make a slight correction to one thing you stated. The mods like armadillo and crunch scale to the rewards level, not your technical ability. You can max out the crafting attributes and perks, and still only have a low level mod. This is not widely known or advertised but the scales occur as follows: White - standard Blue - level 12 Purple - level 15 Leggo - level 18 As you can see, you don't need to max out crafting if you want to save a couple of points for other aspects of a build you. P.s. for those who want them, the basement holds multiple mods like crunch, etc.

Crafting is one of the easiest attributes to level and apply perks to, so people don't realize they're getting rewards that aren't listed in the game. It is the crafting "rewards" that levels the mod, not the crafting perks on the tree. You can max out the perks, but if your rewards scale is at a low level, so are your mods. This applies to armadillo, crunch etc

Contagion is not considered poison according to CDPR. The poison perk is not boosting this skill. And another thing the big sleep deamon is still bugged and not working on many occasions. This is really sad for all stealth hackers. Hope patch 1.6 comes earlier as 1.5.

My first playthrough has been a mix of crit gunslinger, gorilla arms and a little bit of quickhacks for the short circuit so far. Once you get Johnys pistol, a full on handgun build gets insane, pair that with a little cold blooded and any other crit chance perk it's sick. Anything that slows time is also fun with a handgun build... May try this or a blades build for a next playthrough.

Just fyi. Despite saying so Contagion doesn't deal poison damage. It deals Quickhack damage which is denoted in white. Poison damage appears as a green numbers. Same goes for Overheat. It doesn't deal burn damage despite setting people on fire. Its a wierd oversight, like the Netwatch net diver uploading only to two instead of three like it says.

According to some reddit posts, with exception of maybe hasten the quicken, most of the poison perks don't synergies with contagion quickhack. That's because contagion is categorized as chemical attack but not as poison, even though the description says poison.

I ran 13B 11R 20T 20I 7C this build is a monster I run with gorilla arms so I can open almost anything. But this build lets me play pretty much however I want. Gunrunner, stealth massive aoe or whatever. But tech guns combined with breach protocols is nuts.

I think the others are pretty self explanatory as to why I ran those. Altho I will say I love running buzzsaw with silencer for stealth running. I do play on hardest difficulty as well... although it might as well be easy mode.

I'm really interested that so many people load up netrunner's gear with Armadillo mods. My netrunner build never gets hit by anything at all - dammit, she rarely gets detected by anything at all - so Armadillo is completely useless, and there are so many other useful clothing mods!

I think the tetronic cyber deck is better. Only because it can make system reset (is it reboot?) and suicide spread to one other person. and by the time you're 20 int and have all the decent perks your quickhack cooldowns are fast enough that you rarely have to wait for reset or suicide most you're biggest problem will be ram, and even then it comes back so fast that it's hardly a problem. Actually, really, you're biggest problem will be trying to find fun in the game since the combat will become trivial.

For like the first half of the game I ignored the quick hacks and breach protocols and fights were getting tough. Started tinkering with them and the game became a lot funnier and easier.

Up to you! As long as your attributes are in the same spots you can re spec just for some money so it’s easy to do!

Yeah I just done use overwatch with this build. If you wanted to you could probably take some points out of cool and tech and put them into body. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I really wish they left monowire functionality in the game as a way to quickhack. I'm pretty sure in one of the trailers they showed the monowire as a way to jack in to your enemy to trigger quickhacks. It would have been even cooler if it dropped the ram cost by one to use those quickhacks

I went with "confusion" blade, all about blinding/resetting/whistle/psychosis and then jump in and chop em up with blades/knives. At low level just spam those flash nades. Btw, you can just buy all the stuff from Fingers before interrogating him and later punch him :)

MAN, i started the game being a corpo netrunner thinking later i'll end up like a street guy katanas and mantis blazing killer, but the corpo was so over powerd it was like being in God mode, Thec 19, intel20 and body, just to break a door like it's nothing... like I said like God mode

I think there's a cyberwear that increase crit chance by 7% which requires int. Given there's so little way to increase crit chance after 1.5 i thought you gonna use that. any thoughts?

@@abrahamsandwich it's called "limbic system enhancement"for the head slot. The legendary version gives 7% crit chance and I just found it at the female ripperdoc just northwest of Wakako in Japantown (the one who tells you about the patient going nuts on her table). Got it at level 17 (27 SC) for 16800 ED.

I always wanted to do a netrunner build. My first two playthroughs were gunners, third was melee katana focused. I didn't even know where to begin with netrunner one, i imagined it's like max int + reflexes and bunch of quickhacks. i'll give this one a try and see how it flows

I actually didn’t do reflexes at all. I think cool is a really good complementary tree to int!

I'm playing a net runner build now but built up the body instead of cool because I didn't really know which direction I was going in. I think I'm going to to start a new build and focus points into cool this time. But, even with the build I have now, I can usually clear a building without having to enter it if there's a camera available, I can't remember the last time other than the final missions where I had to use one of my guns!
