I am loving the bushy stage at the moment. I am only 4mths in. Started with Chini bumps, now its out doing its own thing.. So liberating.

I established my locs with 2 strand twists on April 2, 2022. I love the bushy frizzy stage. Your locs are beautiful. The tapered cut gives your locs a lot of body and attitude.💕

I really like the bushy look, they’re full and easier to style in my opinion 😂 thank you so much, I do love the length I have right now… I can’t wait for them to grow but I don’t want them to long.

I retwist maybe once every two months. I love the puffy look because I have fine low density hair. It makes it look much fuller when my hair is frizzy. So now that I'm 1.5 years, I go to some of my non-frizz locs and lightly pinch them to dislodge some of the hair and make them frizzier. I use water and oil (and avocado leave in conditioner once a month, right after I rinse out the henna). But I have high porosity hair, so I DRENCH my hair every morning. Sometimes in the evenings too. And I only oil my hair once or twice a week.

Im ok w bushy. I haven’t had my first retwist yet I’m on week 5. I think I will go for my retwist bw 6-8 weeks. I have fine hair and I went to the stylist to retwist at 4 weeks and she said it’s too soon. So hey I’m enjoying this “do nothing “ life.

Omg, I love this “do nothing” life 🥰 I went on vacation and literally did not have to worry about my hair, what to after it gets wet and I save so much time getting ready now 😂 you don’t need to retwist so much at all. Rock the bushy look proudly!
