@@Vulturejitt I wouldn't suggest doing it because starter locs take a couple months before the hair train it self to loc up. If wash starter locs too soon the water and will unravel if you did the coil method. If you did interlocking then you're able to washing it without it unraveling.

Make sure you get them thangs re-twisted every 3 weeks like clockwork and try really hard not to get them wet/wash them. Keep them clean so your head wont start to itch which they will still. If you really have to washing them. Make sure when you do it you plan it out to wash them the day of the retwist and you wash them with the wave cap on to keep them in place.

Dreadlocks is just hair that’s knotted up. Grow your hair long enough at least 6months and then you twist it and leave it twisted long enough without washing it until it starts to knot. (Takes about 5-6 months) within those 5-6 months you retwist it every 3-4 weeks to train your hair to grow into knots. After your starter locs become knotted you get a retwist at least every month and no sooner. A retwist sooner will result in thinning your hair because of the constant manipulation. The purpose of a retwist is that when your hair grows the new hair hasn’t been trained to knot. Last thing is to look at a lot of other videos on the subject. Base on this information you can do research on it. Look up more videos and ask other people that have locs that you like. The more research you do the more this information will make sense. Hope this helps bro!
