Agree 100% with your last point. For me, the best day in GTAO was landing at LSIA and getting picked up by Lamar. The world seemed huge, and was waiting to be explored, and since I hadn't played GTAV first, I knew nothing about what was out there. Robbing stores, PVP when the Rhino was the most OP thing you could get, just playing for the fun of it, and slowly getting rich enough to unlock new ways to play. Once you have it all, you start seeing your bank account as just a high score. You want to keep seeing that number go up, but there's really no purpose to the money anymore.

I remember when the Rhino was the terror of the streets. I remember I was in my Gauntlet and I saw one coming and I kept turning down the cross streets as it came at me just using the superior speed and handling to keep him from getting a line of sight in me with his cannon before I eventually burned off and left him in the dust. Now a Rhino griefed would be the one getting griefed by anyone who has an oppressor, a Deluxo, dang near any modern weaponized vehicle. LOL

There are a number of unique missions, playable solo, you can launch from the Avenger that the MOC doesn't give access to. The MOC has the six special vehicle missions that the Avenger doesn't give you, but they require at least 2 players. Rockstar seem to have allowed more and more solo online content as they realized that a horrible world they had created where griefers will kill you and modders annoy you constantly.

Back when selling solo pre acid lab, vehicle cargo was a quick easy way to make 100000. And remember back then 100000 went a lot farther back then compared to today

Facts! The game did get a lot better imo.. I used to grind top tier veichle cargo for 100k like every 15-20 minutes. Now all I do is cayo, dre, filling up large warehouses, hangar by paying npc's. Nightclub and the diamond heist for passive to get money. Earning 100k is hardly satisfying if you are used to the biggest payouts

interior lacking on all seminoles, and 80% of all other cars, the stitching on the steering wheel aint even fully on it lol. Stitching is way lower on bottom and way higher on top of the steering wheel than it should be, so its just like floating stitching in mid air lol. its like this for ALOT of vehicles. Ruins my immersion but i also have bad OCD lol

On your last regret, as someone who played since launch and like yourself didn't know how to make money, i found it hard to keep coming back, then in 2022 i finally learnt how the different businessess work and where to spend money to make money and spent the next 18 months grinding for 75 to 80% of the time i was on GTA, i even starter my own channel to help new players or player that weee like me and didnt know how to make money. The fun of grinding to get that next vehicles, or business or what ever it is, is just as fun as anything else you can do in the game, but also once you reach a point where you dont need to grind any more you can better appreciate things like Adversary modes, Arena Wars, Stunt Races and any other game mode that is fun but the pay is shit. Because you dont need money any more your not as focused on what the payout is at the end and youre just enjoying the actual game mode. Cheers for all your work Harmnome, you are one the reasons i started doing GTA content myself.

The only good thing about it is how it ties into the nightclub but I did special cargo when it was one of the only businesses in the game and it took so, so long and was so, so, so boring

i remember going for 12 hours in a row grinding air freight missions to get the volatol and pyro at a discount, this was back when it was 10k per cargo and if im being honest, i really enjoyed it but only because i love planes and flying, if i hadn't have really enjoyed that aspect those hours would have sucked 10 times more than they allready did. and they sucked, but i enjoyed some of it so it didnt suck too badly. also i think the average time is 10-20 minutes, 30 minutes is a bit extreme, even solo the air missions can be done easily in 10-20 mins.

Was thinking that too, getting rich in GTA seems very similar to getting rich in real life. Every paycheck you get, you invest it into cash flowing business, instead of cars and houses. After some time, you can step back and stop working so hard, since your business take care of you. Then you just buy whatever you want. Some friends I play with never stop buying cars every time they get paid, and they still do odd jobs for Simeon & Madrazo, while we have been playing for the same amount of time. I feel like GTA teaches more about money than school in some ways

The last point is so real. I remember playing GTAO for Xbox Series X, for the first time, after not playing GTAO in general for a long time, and seeing how nice they made it to actually get money, and get your way to the top, I had the most fun grinding each business, and spending time with each business, and it actually wasn't until I got the Kosatka, where I just grinded Cayo hours on end, and when I ended up with the MK2, and the Raiju, scramjet, all these expensive vehicles, is when I actually got burnt out of the game.

I'm so glad they started giving a boost to new players on the series X. The game was not playable in a modern setting unless you bought at least 1 $4million shark card, which isn't fair to expect from new players. I refuse to do the Cayo Puerico heist for the exact reason you mentioned, I don't want the game to get boring. I made a new account a few months back and started by buying the salvage yard, man is it the most fun I've had with the game in years. It's such a simple job with fun missions (most of the time) that pays well. Once I started making enough money, I bought an auto shop, because I wanted to be able to modify cars at a low rank. My main thing with GTA online is driving and owning cool cars, that's how I've always played the game. After I made my money back from the auto shop (which didn't take long with the salvage yard) I bought an MC clubhouse with the bike shop. Overall I can make up to $160k per in game day and I don't really have to do much to get that done. I also have the 3 salvage yard missions each week that get me another $800k a week. I bought the nightclub yesterday which will make me another $50k per day for doing basically nothing. Plus if I'm bored, I can do nightclub missions for a few thousand, just for fun. I like the roleplay aspect of the game, I like the idea of starting as a guy that works in a salvage yard eventually making enough money to run 2 vehicle customization shops and eventually a nightclub. It's way more fun to me that grinding out MC missions and heists, even if they are more efficient.

7 - Great video! I enjoyed the grind when I started 2 year ago; a Dominator and not much else. Then a friend mentioned the Duke O' Death, and that was my work car for ages. Having goals, like getting that next business in order to generate more money...I remember when I felt I could afford to buy supplies instead of stealing them, that was great. I still don't buy vehicles unless they are discounted (or they are good but removed, back in the game for a week). I could buy anything I want at this point, but where's the fun, if you have everything all at once?

A number of years ago, i found that there were discount shark cards on a particular website (starts with g and ends with a and has a '2' between them). At the time, I got a couple of Megalodon cards because I was really busy at work and couldn't grind. It made sense in my mind (time spent vs money spent) but the FOMO took over and after i had millions back in the bank, the game lost some of its luster for me. I always enjoyed the grind - i still do to a certain extent. Yeah, dispatch work and bounty hunting aren't lucrative for the wallet but when you need to decompress from work and you're up early on Saturday anyway... go get you some bad guys - it's a change in activity and I don't mind it. You hit it on the head with this vid, HN! My yacht is still my biggest regret in GTA. 7.

These days, the hangar missions aren’t so bad since you can do the land missions, which u can complete in as little as 2 minutes. And, with the increased payouts and the fact that you accumulate trade prices every 3 missions, I think it’s completely worth it these days (definitely not at release tho 😂)

Personally, there is a practical use for the superyacht. So if I'm in a mission in freemode or invite-only lobbies where enemy weaponized choppers attack me, I just simply go to my yacht, turn the defenses on, and see the helis drop like flies. Once they stop spawning, I fly to my property without wasting a bullet.

Grinding was all I did for the first 4 months using the kosatka, reached 200mil, got all businesses and was bored outta my mind. Modded money = bad. Shark Cards = bad. You summed it up at the end. Just play for fun. And for all of the purchases that you regret? If you had some amount of fun with them, then they were good purchases. I've recently started a new character that I have decided he is only going to run legit "legal" businesses. I currently have bail bond, MC Club for custom bike sales, and I can do taxi work. I plan on getting the Agency but not doing payphone hits. I plan on getting the Auto Shop only for custom vehicle sales. I plan on getting the unmarked cop car to take down corruption. I plan on getting a night club just to run the night club. That's about it. I "might" get a weed farm because it's kinda legal now. I "might" get a bunker and pretend I'm just manufacturing and delivering to Ammunation. I "might" get a salvage yard and assume i'm picking up abandoned cars, but no heists. But the main goal is to kind of roleplay "legit" business and still end up with a yacht and a penthouse, etc. AND, don't hurry. I'm not even planning on using any helicopters and certainly not going to get a flying bike. I'll stick to cool old school muscle cars and motorcycles, because that's how I roll. Once you have some easy ways to make some passive money that just needs delivered. It's time to enjoy the giant open world. Go jet skiing and ride a rollercoaster and stuff.

Vehicle cargo DELIVERY is the worst part for me. You can’t upgrade the tires or armor on the car so as soon as you leave your warehouse you IMMEDIATELY get one of your tires shot out and you end up losing control and losing value with every shot the OP attackers make.

I regret buying a drone station for my Terrorbyte. I used to go into passive and scan players with the player scanner, but now it's classed as a weaponised vehicle I can't do it in passive anymore. I also regret buying a Mule for nightclub deliveries. That thing is terrible.

Many people say getting the yacht, but for me its my favorite achievement. I specifically waited to buy it, i purchased all the businesses were i wanted them, custmized the customizable ones, maxed upgraded them all, then went on to buy the oppressor MK2 and all the cars i wanted. I didnt buy the super yacht until after i had littirally 200 mil in assets. I spent 10mil on the yacht as a cool but expensive (but useless) purchase and haven't played since. I think waiting really changed my perspective since i treated it as a final achievement rather then big purchase number 637

A regret I had in GTAO was buying the Savage. I watched your video about the best helicopter and I bought it thinking it was going to be good. It was pretty bad. The armor is horrible, the main guns range is horrible. And just trying to slow it down is just impossible and I end up crashing because of that.

Right now, I’m working on getting $100MM for a second time before buying the latest business. I’ve been doing it without Cayo Perico, so once I crack that goal, I’ll do a Cayo run from there.

GTAO has a max earn limit of $1M per day. After a big sale, there's really no point playing except to stock supplies, exception being Acid Lab because you can only steal supplies so supplies run out faster than you can steal them. Max payout $330k 😢

I agree with you that having money for everything is not fun . I got my account reset on xbox. When was the glich with the garage and ceo ofice that you make 8 mil per minute. Lost over 6k of hours of grind , but now I riched again nearly to have everything and even more in some ways. I love Gta 5, but the grind sometimes is boring and repetitive. Loved the video ❤.

That's why I don't bother grinding that hard. There's grinding the way the game is intended and then there's grinding the way the community recommends. I prefer to grind the way the game is intended, that being selling my businesses. I don't care for doing heists, so I don't do them. I like running the vehicle shops and salvage yard so I do that, and then make money passively from the nightclub.

You are right Harmnone....I have everything and the fun was getting there...I was so happy when the Finance and Felony DLC came out and I ground my ass off for 6 months straight to get on top, then once I got there Im just like what now? I agree 100% Harmnone. I played GTA 5 on ps3 years ago and recently got it on a ps4. Just had 2 weeks off work and grinded hard while watching videos on the do’s and don’ts of business. I decided to pick the business’ that I enjoyed the grind for that were different enough from the next to allow my grind to not feel like a grind. It’s more on my online routine/cycle. I even have my business’ set in a circle around LS. I went from a Rank 60 to Rank 130+ in 2 weeks. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. PS I have the hanger, CEO office with 2 large wearhouses, vehicle wearhouse(mainly for the ramp buggy), Agency, facility (w avenger), auto shop, scrap yard, nightclub, MC club and counterfeit cash currently. I will get the bunker last however I wanted to understand how to run all said business’ first before adding that. Cheers and thanks again ❤

I completely agree with Vehicle Cargo! I have not touched that business in years! That for me was just an annoying grind. Esp when it came to selling the car and getting the npcs with the insane accuracy! I just hated it so much. If I could sell it, I would immediately! Wanna add, very wholesome ending with your last bit. Definitely enjoy the journey.

It for sure sucks but those insane accuracy NPCs only spawn in if there are no other players in the session. Also the best way to deal with them is figure out where exactly from your garage they'll spawn on your sell mission, it will always be that spot. Then I used to park the car somewhere safe before they could shoot it, run to a toreador I had parked nearby or any good pve vehicle would work and just kill all of those NPCs. After 3 or 4 waves they don't spawn any more and you can have a chilled out drive to the sale. I'd still say you're better off selling in public most of the time since other players can't lock onto you anyway

The good thing about the Yacht is that it blocks people from flying above it, under the penalty of being shot down, the Avenger is actually faster, stronger and does everything that the MOC does, not to mention that the driver has guns at his disposal now

So I just started playing on PC a few weeks ago. In one of my early sessions, before I knew to NEVER play in a public lobby, something strange happened. I stepped outside my apartment after loading in, and then my speakers/screen erupted with constant "cha-chings". As a new player, I didn't know what was going on, and after a minute or so of trying to suss out what this was, I just assumed it was some glitch and reloaded the game. It wasn't. It was the rank-up notification stacked on top of itself. Some modder was being "nice" and causing everyone in the lobby to rank up infinitely. I had no idea this was happening and did not ask for or consent to it, but nonetheless my character was suddenly almost level 200 out of nowhere. I didn't get any extra money, but the extra levels didn't go away. Since then I've played exclusively in private lobbies, but now I'm afraid Rockstar is gonna come along and delete my account even though I didn't _choose_ to cheat (and if I'm being honest, the extra levels didn't really do much outside of allow me access to buy guns I couldn't even afford and still don't use). Should I be worried?

I dont onow if you just mentioned it so we would comment... The special vehicle business is fantastic! 2.5 times the sale of 10 high end vehicles is lowkey a great ROI. When conpared to the salvage yard, where we get a claimable vehicle once a quarter, and cant fill up our lifts anymore back to back...Or compared to the cash factory. The special vehicle warehouse is fantastic with 3 friends hanging out and making 400k in 5 min.

Tbh i often dont understand the point of people saying they dont have the time because of their job to grind some GTA, For myself it was the reason i found this channel to begin with. I didnt had much time and started looking around which jobs or business pays the best for my limited time after work and then started to get around it. From Dr Dre contract, cayo perico heist or the new Farm Raid there are many options to go for in GTA when you only have about an hour or two

I do agree with the source Inconsistency in the Vehicle Cargo. Like you have to source,and scource and source to where it takes it outta you. Now if you could select Low,Medium and High Range from the Computer or Terrorbyte instead of being Random,I'd say the Vehicle Cargo could be one of the best fast paying businesses.

As someone with a good amount of gta cash, I still enjoy the grind by self-imposing money caps. If I want something, I say that I need to still have a certain amount after purchasing or that what I buy has to pay for itself. Keeps the thrill going even though I have enough to buy anything I want right away.

Back in 2013, i met a modder and have had that money every since. I still enjoyed the game as the new content came out. Now, as new content come out, i am able to buy whatever i want without having the grind 1st. I buy, then grind to keep my bank account full.
