Oh...I love Cusk but I do agree with your number one. I always remember that bit where his mom in Senegal would smell in her father and brother the movement, the travel, the adventure, the danger etc in them because of her nomadic spirit... Kieran was reading a misprint of the book I guess!

I've had One By One on my shelf for the last 4/5 months. I've heard very mixed reviews, you're the only person I've seen have it in their top 10 of '21 - actually your whole top 10 (bar project hail Mary) is unlike anyone else's I've seen which is really refreshing! 😌

That's great to hear! It probably helps that I'm terrible at reading new releases! But I definitely think One by One was my favorite thriller I read this year and definitely my favorite Ruth Ware novel 😊 I hope you enjoy it!
