The BITE toothpaste tabs are so good! I’ve never gone back to regular toothpaste since I discovered them.

Bite is my favorite! Even my parents like them.

Love this! Marley’s Monsters unpaper towels are 100% cotton, not bamboo. They do make a few products in bamboo, but not their unpaper towels. I love their products, though!!

Love this video Megan!! Do you think you could maybe talk more about sustainability/guilt during the Covid-19 pandemic?? My state was putting forth lots of effort to reduce waste -- taxing plastic bags, encouraging stores to switch to paper, etc -- but those have since been retracted due to sanitary concerns with the virus. I have been forced to get my groceries in plastic bags and it is killing me! I would love a video talking about this to maybe help others feel less alone in their concern.

Absolutely!! I will do a video on this ASAP. I've been buying veggies in plastic packaging for the first time in almost a year and it definitely kills me so I completely feel you, but having a "progress, not perfection" mindset is so important during this time!

I love my cotton rounds! I use a skin care regime that has a toner so I just them everyday but I also haven't really found pilling or damage to them. :)

They seem to hold up really well!

Something I've been thinking about that I'm interested to know your thoughts on. Sustainable living sometimes involves a lot of things that need to be washed, like reusable paper towels, toilet paper, feminine products, cotton pads etc. Do you think there's a give and take when it comes to paper waste vs water waste or how much water it used to wash them? I've heard a lot of opinions on this and interested to hear yours!

You bring up such a good point! While it's definitely important to be aware of water usage with reusable items that need to be washed, there are also a ton of resources that go into making single-use products. The Sierra Club calculated that a roll of paper towels requires about 2.5 gallons of water to make, and when you think about harvesting the trees and the emissions from production and transportation it can add up for something you purchase over and over. Reusables can become a problem if you run half full loads of laundry because that is a waste of water and energy. There is absolutely a give and take and a lot of it depends on post-consumer care but I believe reusables are the better option!
