The walking dead is a good one, but I’m not sure if it’s streaming anywhere. Also Dexter and Line of Duty ❤

I make my own soup except for Heinz tomato as it can't be bettered. Have it with white bread and butter. Favourite winter lunch. I must be 'old school' as I only drink black tea and no fancy coffee for me.

I couldn’t be without a good moisturiser either-along with hand cream and a nice body butter! 🧴 I have a couple of those black lanterns too; I got mine from Aldi a few years ago, and we use them at the caravan. 🏕 We have a salt lamp in the bedroom as well-we switch it on about an hour before bed, and it really makes the room feel so warm and cosy. 💡 I love winter soups, stews, and casseroles too-just had chicken casserole tonight from the slow cooker, so comforting! 🍲 Hot chocolate is a must as well; I’ve had a few at our favourite café already but need to stock up for home. ☕ Love the jumper you’re wearing-it’s gorgeous, and your earrings are lovely too! 💖 Wonderful video, Karen, thanks for sharing! xxx

I agree with all of your choices Karen. Love a scarf, it really helps to keep you warm. I worked in a cold food factory making sandwiches and a scarf was essential. I usually make my own soup, but agree Heinz cream of tomato is delicious. In the winter we have an open fire, even if it isn't really cold it just makes things more cheerful. Have to say your skin is really good. Hope the situation with Warren is improving. ❤❤

Hi Karen, I"m with you on heinz tomato soup. It's my all time favourite ! You sound like me when you say a great night is a cosy night in with a good book and no alcohol. That's me to a t. The show I have enjoyed this year is Shetland. It has 8 ( I think ) past series' and there's one on at the moment. Really good and easy to get into.

Hi Karen. Lovely winter essentials and definitely tomato soup with a slice of cheese on toast. My duvet is 10.5 which is warm enough for me and 4.5 in summer. We have an old, very cold house and love our log burner. We are in the process of having outside insulation put on the house so hopefully make it warmer as it is only single brick. A great series we loved is the Blacklist with James Spader as Raymond Reddington. Binge watched quite a few at a time. Think there might be 10 series but not sure. He plays an excellent part. Thanks for sharing xx

Love Heinz tomato soup. Used to take it to work for lunch, but stopped when I was told how much sugar it contained as I'm pre diabetic. Didn't know there is a low sugar one available, so will seek that out. I also make nana's magic soup which used to be advertised on the Tesco commercial. Love that one. Tastes amazing. Also a fan of low, cosy lights and candles of course. Xx

Hi to the lovely Karen It’s nice to see you. My nearest Aldi is about 5/6 miles away from me and Lidl Is just up the road from me so not that far away. I think the lamp with the log fire just cheers you up. Those lamps are quite expensive to buy but will think about it.. I am like you with tomato soup with a crusty bread. I buy tiger bread with sourdough as it takes me back many years ago when I took my daughter there. She was about 12/13 and even she liked it. Her dog who is 12 had the majority of her teeth out due to dental decay. This is the person who never gave her dog many treats. She was rough after having these teeth out so she was taking pain killers regularly and was eating soft tinned food and she lived it. As the dog wasn’t keen on taking tablets, my daughter gave her her tablets in tiger bread and now won’t eat the cheaper bread. To be honest I don’t blame her. I bought her her bed for Xmas as she has two dogs and she bought the other one. With the neuropathy in your feet you can rub castor oil on the soles of your feet and put socks over it but the best way is to put them on at night as it takes the inflammation away and would be beneficial to you being you get this. I hope Warren is doing okay as Christmas is on our doorstep. Give him my best please. I know I have never met you but you feel like my sister who I can tell you anything. Thank you as you are so approachable. This time of the year I usually make soup in my slow cooker. I always find it’s nicer the second day To watch on Netflix I saw cold call and I really enjoyed that but only has 4 parts. Designated survivor is brilliant to watch too. I have a list but will pop these on there for the next time you are here or send it to you by e mail if that’s ok with you Thanks for this vlog as I really enjoyed that too All the best and see you in the next one xx

I really don’t like tomato soup, or any plain soup, I make my own, and prefer soups like mushroom barley, beef barley, Mexican tortilla soup, borscht, cabbage soup, hot, and sour soup, soups with a lot of things in them.I pretty much eat, and drink the same all year. As I live in an apartment the heat is on most of the time, and my windows are open, it was 25F last night with a wind chill of 12F my windows were open, otherwise it get too hot. I only use a thin cover on the bed, but I like a long down coat outdoors, but no hat, or scarves. When I go out I like heavy sweaters, but most of the time at home a sweatshirt, and pants are enough. I have never been as cold in the very cold temperatures of NY as I was growing up in Birmingham with a coal fire, the front of your legs would be burning hot, and the back frozen, water in a glass in the bedroom was often frozen in the morning. It’s the damp that makes the British Isles so cold.❤

I wouldn’t thank you for a tin of soup. I just picked up some reduced mushrooms and made eight portions of delicious soup for less than you’ll have paid for that single tin, and mine was stuffed full of mushrooms rather than sugar and chemicals. I don’t understand people who eat tinned soup, knowing what’s in it and what it costs.
