I'm listening to new albums every week so this shifts constantly, like I only started listening to javelin a few weeks ago. this list is just how I'm feeling today. no live albums or compilation albums were considered, only studio.

The Cars are the best New Wave band of all time, IMO, so I would recommend their eponymous debut album and Heartbeat City, both in my Top 100, because you had Remain In Light on your list. I enjoyed the vid, though I didn't agree with all of your picks and believed that there were some snubs, and there was some stuff that I hadn't heard before that I will most definitely be checking out.

Amazing list man, love the court of the crimson king, Close to the edge (my personal favorite album of all time) and all the steely dan. Big props for putting Can’t buy a thrill above Aja, a very unpopular take but one I 100% agree with. Absolutely going to listen to the albums on here I haven’t heard yet.

My top 10 is very different from yours but I like that theirs a similarlity in how dense and experimental some of those records are, cause all of my top 10s are really experimental and dense
