I immediately added Wake Wood and In Fear to my watch list after hearing you describe them. I'm so excited because I'm always on the lookout for horror that is new to me. Rosemary's Baby is one of my favorite books and movies. The Howling is such a fun movie. I didn't know it was based on a book. Yes to Rec! That movie actually made me scream a couple of times. Love it!

Let me know what you think of Wake Wood and In Fear, I found In Fear to be terrifying at times. With regards to The Howling I love them both but preferred the book, if you read it check the content warnings as the first chapter is pretty horrifying. The end of REC! I have never jumped so far out of my seat 🤣

Wake Wood sounds some-what similar to Pet Sematary with the whole bringing the dead back to life thing. Laid to Rest and it's sequel are quite good slashers. [REC] is one of the top 3 found footage movies ever for me. Number 1 being Blair Witch Project and 2 - Paranormal Activity. I really dig your list. I'm always on the hunt of what to watch next and your list contains a good bunch I haven't seen yet or even heard of.

If you enjoy Pet Semetary then you'll probably like Wake Wood, it's similar but different enough to be enjoyable. I haven't seen the sequel yet, for whatever reason it never had a release here despite Laid to Rest being released, I'll have to track it down as I love the Chromeskull character. I really enjoy found footage, and I definitely agree with you about Blair Witch Project, I love Paranormal Activity too. That's great to hear, I hope you enjoy them if you watch them.

I read Rosemary's Baby and read the book. Both were great. I read The Howling and I think I saw the movie. I remember liking them. Nothing beyond that though

I read Rosemary's Baby earlier this year and thought it was fantastic, considering the age of the book I found it an extremely disturbing read. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂

I love the movie Rosemary's Baby it is a great movie and the book is fantastic. I love the transformation scenes in the Howling. I hope one day I get to read the book. I haven't heard of most of the movies you mentioned. I have some more movies to check out. I have heard of Rec. I have been meaning to check that out. I hope it becomes available one day so I can.

I hope you get to see REC one day, I thought it was very well done and is terrifying. I really love smaller horror movies but as my list goes on there will be lots of the more famous movies. Thanks for watching :)

The only one of these I'm familiar with is REC. I know I saw the remake, and I THINK I saw the original, but I don't remember for sure. Both would've been a long while ago. I did like the premise. Found footage is an interesting genre. It CAN be absolute garbage, so I get why some people are automatically turned off, but when it's done well it can be very effective. Cloverfield, Europa Report and The Bay come to mind as some I really enjoyed.

Totally agree, when it's bad found footage is barely watchable but when done well it can be so unique. I really like that it gave filmmakers a cheaper way to make films and there are some gems out there. The Bay is fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed that film. Your comment has given me a video idea.
