You could have built a raid farm above the pillager outpost to make it 100% automatic so you don't have to run back and forth. Powered by a trident pushed between pistons, tricking the game thinking your killing them. There would be 2 kill chambers. One for keeping the bad omen effect and another for the xp and loot.
