Auro token + lvl 1 tuner = herald. Can make make herald then use ashuna eff to make Yazi. Shaman is great for pushing lethal damage. Can summon Any Wyrm Synchro from GY and still get their effect around shaman's restriction. You can discard a mo ye/taia to Reborn and get their eff or attack with them.

Nice video! But in 4:16 if I were the opponent I would never ash this because ashuna locks you to summon wyrm only for the rest of the turn which means no halq no baronne. Ash is usually prioritized for chixiao / emergence / halq :)

Ruddy is the worst of the 10 stars cause it's really only situational to banish the GY, later on it'll be cut for Sinister Sovereign so don't expect to see it too much. Also pro tip, Chuxiao + Banish Blackout for token = Geomathmech Final Sigma.

The main point is if u go halq, u lose to ash. Ashuna play is the way even tho ur chixiao will got negated, at least you have 1 negate on board rather than halq being a vanilla on the field. (in the situation where you dont have extender)

I've found a lot of success using Star Eater instead of Herald of Arc Light. I rarely find myself in a position to make a lvl 4 synchro but if you summon Mo Ye and it gets destroyed but you still get the token on the field you can special summon a Vishuda or Ashuna and make the lvl 11 synchro

Honestly I think swordsoul is almost boring as drytron it's always the same combo with the same cards ending the board with baronne and the other lv 8 guy, next turn (if the opponent is still playing) you bring out the lv 10 guy and go for lethal. I have a couple meta decks and i almost never play them since every match is a copy of the previous one.

I bet you if there is a summon limit of 3 per turn special summons, then he would be pulverized by any other semi skilled player, because this removes otk ftk and other abusive more than 1 omni negate degenerate decks. makes the game is at least 50percent skill 50 percent luck. not just an overly complicated, super long rock paper scissors game which it is at the moment. how far has yugioh fallen. it lost it's status as being competitive. thankfully magic the gathering is still going strong.

The reason why Swordsoul wasn't playing the Auroradon combo was because the Tokens locked you into Synchro Summons. They chose to have more Synchro options instead of Link monsters that can't be made while a Token's on field, which was easily done thanks to interruptions being able to destroy the non-Tuners.

Some noteworthy things are, from what I have seen from other commenters and etc, crossout doesn't prevent the nib activation. it still board wipes but it prevents the token iirc. another thing to point out is chaofeng reads "your opponent cannot activate eff with the same attribute as the "yang zing" monsters used for its synchro" I get the feeling that many people think (not including dkay. i'm pretty sure he talked about this slightly in one of the other swordsoul vids) chaofeng is just a light attribute lock automatically on summon instead of what it actually is. so unless you make him with a light yang zing monster. i.e denglong, baxi, chiwen etc then you won't get a light lock much less a lock of any kind if you don't use at least 1 yang zing monster. Something else that is more so something I don't understand is, why run 3 pot of desires. I understand the aspect of draw power, but it just seems like this deck can do without the risk of pot cards screwing you over with what it banishes. I do understand that out of all the pot cards, desires fits the best overall considering chengying's eff and that the deck is extra deck focused, so other pot cards wouldn't mesh well with the deck. Overall though, it just seems like it could work just as good without the pot cards.

1. Cross out negates nibiru period. 2 Chaofeng prevent light activation because you usually synchro it with baxia(light). 3. Pot is ash bait + triggers the banish effect of the level 10 synchro swordsoul.

How do you summon Herald exactly? What about Ruddy Rose Dragon instead?

Herald is to be summoned with (a normal summoned) adhara plus spare token from halq combo. Very situational. Usually done if you summon your link 1 tenyi with a special summoned higher lvl tenyi and then special summon adhara from hand. Easier with the summit spell. I haven't used him once after dropping the summit spell. Ruddy rose is summoned by generic longhuan combo (same as baronne) or special summoned tenyi with an ash normal summon. You use it mainly when you have cleared most of their cards but can't win the game that turn to prevent them from recovering next turn. I'd say you might want to replace this for a a crystal wing synchro dragon, since a once per turn extra monster negate is pretty damn good.
