I forced myself to learn to thread my serger. Once that was done it was on and I love it. Now I need to learn more than one stitching option. I haven’t gone past 4 thread one size. I don’t mess with anything else. You did great for 2024! Looking forward to more in 2025: I’d love more sew with me videos.

Love it! I also made that vintage Laura Ashley pattern and will never do it again. I will also think real hard before using crinkle rayon again. 2025 definitely needs to be your year for the serger! It's a game changer!

Gurl me and my serger were MORTAL enemies. I wholly believed I got it to glare at it. However I also hate zigzag stitching, LMAO. I took the ready, set, serge class on Seamwork and have been serging ever since. No don't get me wrong, I still curse the thing to the earths core almost every re-thread, but we are working on it 🤣

You look like an ancient goddess in your caftan. Now, learn to use that serger. I will make your life so much easier. You can serge your fabrics before washing AND finish your seams. You can use it to gather any long pieces and save hours of time with just a simple change in the settings. I didn't like my Brother 1034D because it was so hard to thread so I bought a Baby Lock with air threading. Made all the difference. However, you can just pull your threads through once the machine is threaded right. Best Wishes to you and your family and keep making stitches. PS However, a lot of people use their Brother 1034D for ages. You're smart enough to do what you want.
