Try shifting the mandir to some other corner of the house as it is not good to place it near the chappal stand. Just a small suggestion.

Try to look for double sharing listings with one room for yourself. You can try cooking your own food for some days. These are just my suggestions .

How do you manage power backup and security?

The apartment comes with an inverter and even though its an independent house there is security all the time. So no issues so far

Dont you think the security deposit is too costly and rent is also quite high for 1 bhk.

I know its quite high but seeing the recent increase of rent prices throughout BLR its what it is. Still not reasonable though. Besides I had to make a trade off between cheaper apartment /commute time and price. I chose to save time.
