In today's video I unbox and give you my first impressions of the birthday present I saved up for and bought for myself. I wanted a watch that would look good in 40 years and one that is versatile, durable and overall fitting in any situation, and I think I made the right choice, what do you think?

Congrats! Great timepiece. I recently went into a Tudor authorized dealer, wanting to look at a Black Bay, but was underwhelmed. However, the model I ended up trying on and liking the most was a Glamour. It's the watch I now want. Thanks for the great review!

I think a lot of people are upset the Glamour line doesn't look like the Prince / Datejust / Day Date/ Date Day / Oysterdate lines. It's a different watch, and does still retain some design cues of the aforementioned watches. It's not for me, as I'm more of a Black Bay 36 or Heritage Ranger admirer, but the dial here is soooo clean and I might pick one up in the future if Jomashop has a great price on it. Who knows, might become a future collectable since most Tudor and Rolex watches that were unpopular back in the day (Daytona, Milgaus) are now very popular.

Hi! It definitely has more taper to it compared to the classic. But the lugs are rather thick as you can see in the video anyway. Somewhere in the middle of a normal case and the squared of classic model line.

Beautiful watch...ugly ugly bracelet. It just doesn't fit the watch at all. The bracelet design looks like those cheap mall watches...though i'm sure the quality is top notch. I think it will look a lot better on a leather strap...it's a dressy watch for me. Good self-gift though !

Sometimes I agree, bracelet is very high quality. But not the best design. I usually wear it on a custom leather strap I got made for the watch :) It's a tan calf leather strap with white stitching.

The inscription on the dial does not match the original size and font. The original has less. You look more like a fake from China. Perhaps the documents and the box are original, but the watch itself is not.

That's funny :) I literally bought this watch at my AD, new and paid retail. You do know that there are two versions of this watch right? One where the font is bigger, the first one that came out. And then they revised it with another model, a facelift if you will with smaller font.

@@tobias_dahlberg I went to the official website of Tudor watches, but did not find this model with a large inscription, all watches with a small inscription. I opened in Google images with a replica of tudor glamor and ....)))))) there are a huge number of photos of this model with a large inscription, but with a small one practically none. ))) Go to a watch workshop, ask them to open the watch, check for authenticity. Look at the mechanism, at its gradation, at least it should be Elabore.

I said why in the first post. The first model of this that came out had the larger text. Then a few years later they revised it, a facelift if you will, which had smaller text. Find a picture of the first version of this watch and you'll see it has larger text like on my watch.

And on the original site of tudor, I did not find this model with a large logo, but there is a small one. I have this model but with a small logo and a silver dial, I did not find fakes with a small logo on the Internet.
