I have a 1977 CB750A with a side car. A lot of fun. You don't have to put your feet down at the light or the stop sign, and you don't have to shift gears, so happy left foot and happy left hand. My wife loves i and so do the grand kids.

I have a dual 250 and a 750 Nighthawk. I may buy one of these because I wrecked my hands so shifting is sometimes painful or numb and I can't ride. Plus it'll be something different which is always fun IMO.

A giant mini bike that does really cool neutral drops. 10 MPH, shift into neutral, increase RPM's and slam into gear. Trust me... fun as hell.

I looked all over and I wanted the 1977 Hondamatic motor cycle. I did not want to do the 5 speed shifting all the time. I went to Honda and they sold me the parts to install a tachometer on this bike, it does not come with one. I got 55 mpg at 55 mph at 5500 rpm. It has a awesome sound. The only problem I had was the output shaft, chain sprocket, on the engine started to leak oil. It would throw the oil all over the rear end. The only problem was the engine cases had to be split apart to install a new seal. Mine started to blow main fuses. I lost interest in the bike and sold it to a friend of mine who still has it. It blows this main fuse on him now and then.

You can have a camera in the left hand, OR you can have turn signals. Pick one for your youtube viewing pleasure.

@daveZ41437 жыл бұрын
it's neither, and no clutch mechanism at all. it just uses a torque converter as a maintenance free fluid coupling (pressurized engine oil). you still have to manually shift the gears. it's NOT an automatic transmission.
@AVportau11 жыл бұрын
failed to stop at the stop sign at 7:30 eh?... no more blipping the throttle for rev heads i guess... seems the bike is useless for engine braking into corners and that's a big part of riding. no wonder autos on motorbikes failed so miserably... also what's the economy like vs a manual?
@impulsivedesigns10 жыл бұрын
This thing is a commuter bike for fat dumb Americans with no coordination or business being on a bike in the first place. But for the rest of us fat dumb Americans who have coordination and actually ride good bikes, this thing is still the greatest loafer to bum around on. This bike is all about smoooth laziness... Fuel mileage is gonna be worse than a full manual bike unless you get into to CVT bikes. I wanna see if I can wheelie it though.

jghk xgjvv WTF kinda response is that ,especially if you've never ridden a Honda matic, I ride expressways so I don't have to shift and I ride a 1938 EL Knucklehead with a jockey shift and rocker foot clutch so I know how to shift every motorcycle ever made ,these bikes were made for comfort hence the automatic transmission ,the low range shift position only needs to be used if you plan on fast take offs ,for normal riding you never need to take it out of high range and it's a hell of a lot of fun to ride ,I have 11 vintage Harleys and 5 modern bikes as well as a vintage 1978 KZ 750 & I love them all ,if I could find a mint 395 Honda matic I'd buy it .
