I got a 1980 King Cab with the 2.0 with the 5 speed. I've owned it now for 16 years. it has 182,000 on it now. I was at the junk yard the other day and seen one with over 500,000 miles on it. I wish it was smog exempt, so I could hot rod it up a bit. I payed $1500 for it back in 1997. I built my own rear seat /storage cabinet in extra cab area. Bill

I have this same year 720!! it's a fine little mini-beast!! Mine never had the rear bumper, I'm looking for the specs on it.. would love to ask you some questions about yours just to compare! Do you still have the truck? Since Datsun only sold a small number of Diesel powered pickup trucks for only a short few years, diesel powered Datsuns are rare at best these days.

i need a like manual for my 1982 nissan datsun king cab. i have hoses that i need to put in but not sure where they go to, i believe they are connected to the carb. if anyone can help with like a picture or something it would be nice

Well I sold the truck..but it didn't have fuel injection..lol..that wasn't even an option in a Datsun..the factory carb was junk and never run good..but later the weber also proved to be problematic this led to the sale of the truck.

ive got a 1986 datsun 720 dual cab (4door) diesel 4WD. it runs ok but i need to do some repair on the chassis due to rust issues but unfortunately i dont have anywhere to carry out the repair work and take it all apart
