Nice, classic lighting, and not overdone.

Agreed some modern light bars are overdone to where you can't really see the vehicle or anything around it

Far more effective than LEDs!! Doesn't blind you, looks amazing, but is visible!!!

Drove one just like it in 1992. Was an old Ohio State Highway Patrol vehicle. (Silver) Hearing the engine rev up and down with those lights on brings back memories. Nice!

Definitely love seeing the old school police cars. Lots of emergency lights w/o it being over kill like some of the police cars of today

That's very cool but if that tried to pull me over I'd tell him to run along and go play.

I just retired on 09/01/2021 with 37 years working metro. In Texas Peace Officers must always utilize red on the driver’s side & blue on the passenger’s side. This indicates you know, the coveted reasons for this, because it’s not advertised. And typically in Texas people who are impersonating Texas Peace Officers, never have it correct. I realize that this beautiful vehicle of yours is from Nevada, thus I sure they have their state requirements & statutes. However, if you are driving a slick top in Texas , your grill & deck lights must be correct, most of the time it takes years as a LEO in Texas to know this, unless your exceptionally savvy relative to CID & IAD (internal affairs division). I only worked patrol division & I pulled in behind Feds with their red & blues incorrectly placed, but I just called the watch commander, or my Sargent to request official Federal Government documents that we could run on the mobile data terminal MDT in all Police cars in our fleet of about 5500 patrol vehicles.

Here in NY it use to be illegal to have any other light colors on all non emergency vehicles other than red, white, and amber (yellow). Ex police cars are suppose to be painted as to not look like police cars. There was an episode in the 90's when some weirdo in a retired police car that still looked like a police car was pulling over women and raping them so that's when the painting law was passed. The light law has been in effect for a long time as an old friend of mine got ticketed for tinting his front signal lights blue. That was back in the 80's. I see now a days cars, trucks, even tractor trailer trucks driving around looking like Christmas trees so IDK perhaps the law was rescinded???...don't care just sayin'

@@bultacowally Not necessarily. You’re permitted to operate blue lights in the back, and out of state vehicles with front blues (ie. port authority) are permitted to use blue up front.

Alternating the pattern of grill lights to light bars is common and makes it more noticeable.

This would be correct in the State of Michigan although you don't see many yellow flashers. Course the State Police use a single red (pink) beacon. Nice rig for sure.

Nicely done!! I have a short video on my channel of mine on the road with equipment going if you want to take a look. My agency had minimum equipment in the patrol units back then.

I have clear lenses for it now so I can drive it without an out of service cover for the lightbar on roof.

Your patrol car is the best & fastest from all manufactures who make Official Police Pursuit cars, my father already passed (rip), but he put in 54 years after a tour of duty w/USMC Korea 1950-1951, he was a captain of Police in the 70’s and drove a 1974 Grand Fury unmarked with dual ball whip antennas mounted on the driver’s & passenger’s rear side quarter. And when he would run code the antennas would spark behind the Grand Fury, because of the 440 Mopar Police cid with a shift kit from the factory, yet my oldest brother had a 1975 Vette with a 454 four on the floor & he raced against my dad’s slick top Police car, but lost. It was done officially at a 1/4 mile track, because many LEO agencies were pondering what manufactures made the fastest Police cars?

the 80's Diplomats and Furys were far from fast. They were actually pathetic in the performance catagory. Reliable... very much so, but in reality they were dogs. Somewhere at or near 20 seconds in the quarter mile acceleration. Thanks to a whopping 180 HP 318 cu. in. 4 barrel carbed with 360 heads and compression ratio in the 8's with single exhaust engine. IDK about where you live but here in NY the state police had mostly Dips and Furys in the 80's and eventually ended up buying Camaro SS's and Mustang GT's for pursuit cars. What does that tell you? The Mopars were great ultra reliable city patrol cars...that is why most retired police Mopars became taxi cabs...but not great pursuit cars. And most suburban small town cops used Chevy Impalas or Ford Crown Vics they were much better suited for chasing bad guys. Now the 70's Mopar big block cop cars WERE fast capable of actual 140-150 MPH. Same with the late model Hemi Chargers being used these days.
