My 1993 Geo Tracker needs a tune up, I think... Let's take care of that! Cap, Rotor, & Sparkplugs

I would advise a k&N cone filter ,as i did on mine just rinse out reoil good for ever

Did you end up front mounting this? I have heard that it needs to be towed from the back, but I'm also new to these and have no idea.

Vehicles can not be towed backwards. It would turn into a rear steering and would be unsafe above 5 mph. Also the caster built into the front suspension would imidatly try to turn the front wheels 180 degrees but will make it as far as all the way left or right. If you backed up your car at 10 mph and let go of the wheel, bad things will happen..

@@GlennsSpeedShop I know that manuals do show that these trackers, sidekicks, etc should be towed from the rear with the steering wheel locked into position. It has something to do with the locking hubs and gear shifters, though I'm sure it could be towed from the front just fine if the right methods were used.

The firing g order is 1. 3. 4. 2. Number one cylender is the forward cylender. Bring the engine e to top dead center on the compression stroke and the rotor should be pointed at #1 spark plug wire on the cap.

question: to remove the valve cover do you have to remove the distributor? (mine looks just like yours 93 orange seats 5 spd ac and power steering) but im replacing the valve cover gasket even if its not leaking because it sat for 5 years

No... easy gasket replacement. I have a timing belt video that may help you.

Do you know where I can get a water pump pulley or the fan pulley for a 93 tracker. I cant find one. And when I do, they're like 60 bucks. Also is it for a serpentine belt or like a smooth pulley that the belt wraps around. Please help

A quick question Imy 1993 suzuki vitara need injection and i can find any on Ebay or Amazon with years 1993 or 1995 but I need to know if the 1999 injection will work on the engine let me know

Not an expert. I had a 1999 but it was a 16 valve, this is 8 valve so completly different. There is an excellent groups page on Facebook, I suggest you join. Lots of experts!

Judging by the plugs it looks like this car was grandpa driven. Never really gave her the beans long enough to clean the plugs up.
