Wow its been quite a few years now since you've been making videos. Its great to see you still promoting growing your own food. That's what we all need to do. And you can tell you truly love it. Keep doing the good things you are doing. You are blessed.

Wendi, oddly enough I purchased a "Red Baron" peach 🍑 tree last summer that fruited this year. We tried one (that we got before the raccoons could steal) and turned out it was a white peach. I suppose the tree was mislabeled as a Red Baron when in fact it was a white peach. Not sure if it's a Babcock or what but it was ripe by first week of July. Red Baron are yellow inside and ripped from mid July to mid August so this is not the Red Baron that was tagged as. I'm not upset because the few fruit we ate before the raccoons stole were excellent.

Your white peach looks like Babcock. Is it a Babcock? Does it have strong peach fragrance smell when fully ripened? I'm looking for floral / aromatic taste. All of my existing peachs have no scent.
@MsLinjohn2 жыл бұрын
I bought one after watching this video; many years ago we were housesitting a house where the owner died and I discovered she had gorgeous long stemmed roses in backyard and this fruit tree where I ate the peach My God it was so sweet and delicious. It was white inside and not a big fruit. I don't know the variety and I've been trying to find that variety. Probably something not sold anymore. It was a white peach, not a big fruit, but really sweet.

Lily Hau you can try the white Babcock peach... you can find at a local nursery homedepot or Lowe’s. Sometimes during the spring season they have then at Costco.

😋😋😋😋 man that sounds delicious, care to sell me some seeds if possible?
@deesgardeningjourney11635 жыл бұрын
@@stephanies9071 Unfortunately Stephanie, I cut that tree down because the neighbors intruded on my front yard way too often. I'm starting a fruit forest in the back yard but the two trees I have are a little over 2 years old and haven't produced fruit yet. And, as of last month the two bags of seeds I did have were buried all through the backyard as well. However, 3 peach seeds sprouted as of last week in containers I am using for pomegranates given to me last October. Those two pomegranate fruit were given to me free. So I thought about your request a little further. If I could separate the peach seed without dying in another month or two, I 'll send it to you for free. Deal?

I also live in Los Angeles and I really appreciate your videos. I have a suggestion; please list your growing zone number (i.e. zone 10), the Latin name of your trees and where you purchased it. There are so many varieties and it can be very discouraging trying to research which ones, exactly, to buy and grow. Thanks! :) Maybe you can put it in the link or make a video containing all your varieties, etc/
