Shit my comment is so similar to yours, Just literally watched her on Matt Cox, she describes stuff brilliant and is brutally honest smart and really nice looking, this genre has a female that is a bullshit artist pretends to be the sweetest person in the world but is really a horrible bitch and is a fake as Miami tits, I say all that because this woman is the real deal, trust me I'm very qualified in bullshit I actually went to School for it well I say school I mean young offenders prison, Sorry for long comment your comment just confirms exactly what I think to, all the best love from London and Dublin X

You do have the dilemma, of having to choose to fight and stand up for yourself or take the chance of being in even more fights when your perceived as being weak. Under the circumstances I think you did the correct thing at that moment in time.

Woman fight over stupid shit, in the mens prison, there was no holding the shower, besides the showers where always open, i took a shower almost everyday cuase i worked out, but alot of dudes would go a week without, or birdbath, i never understood, dude shower right there, but you gotta stand naked in front of a sink and wash your ass. Wtf and we could shower anytime yard was open, which was all day.

Your video teaches people self control, something I went thru for a short time in high school in three aborted fights, two in my junior year, one in my senior year, almost 45 years ago. I hit someone once, who accused my Mother of telling our principal of some doing drug use (we had an allowed smoking area, and it was an escape from long days in class). I hit him in our library, and for a moment I thought suspension or expulsion, but the librarian knew his accusation was false, knew some of my friends were into drugs, most were not, and knew, minding my own business and something I already knew, we had undercover police officers posing as students. (Climate of Fear, a David Cassidy movie released around 77/78 as a Police Story Episode) was a pretty realistic movie about our drug use challenges in the 70's in suburbia, and how we feared the surge of weapons on campus which reached us in the late 70's. My only other two fights were attempts by others, who falsely thought I was a narc, and though I was not a stoner, my stoner friends i grew up with knowing my temper, and knowing I did not want to get expelled, intervened and the ones starting the fights were not even from our campus. We were a "closed" campus which meant we could not leave school grounds unless we had parental permission, or we had turned eighteen which I did only three weeks before my graduation. Your videos do not make me feel down. In my early 60's now, I still appreciate a Mother's insight into coping skills and if forced to stand one's ground, do not make it a moment of "mutual assured destruction". I always lived in danger of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, since we do not "frisk' our friends for weapons and sometimes you learn a friend has hidden baggage and chose you as a friend because you did not judge and looked the other way, which is sometimes so missing in our world. Thanks for giving me the time to write--it helps knowing that people have had tough times but can get over them, especially when all we wish to do is protect our children from fear of being left alone, and my own daughter, now 23, also protects her parents from the same, knowing we are human, but together is where we are.

As a former CO, I didn’t like when the shower was on hold for someone who was not there and ready to shower. There is not enough time for everyone to shower once a program ends and all inmates have to lock up. Even in dorms, we didn’t allow showers to continue at all hours

When I was in jail and detoxing and at nighttime I would tell the COs you want to take me out of the shower you going to drag me out, because when you're detoxing and have diarrhea and need to go to the bathroom at all hours of the night and you are not supposed to do either supposedly well nobody stopped me😂. Usually I was very respectful to all the Cos at least the respectful ones. Former firefighter for 4 years who got addicted to oxycontin legitimately through surgeries and having to take it for over a year and then was on heroin for many many years, I have been off heroin for almost a year now. Recovery is possible 🙏.

Exactly why I had to fight the first time! You described the situation perfectly because that is exactly what would happen. I did not want to spend the next near decade having to run, hide, or be bullied… It’s kind of funny because it’s irrelevant if you even win the fight. Just act a really crazy and look like you don’t care and are willing to do whatever… That’s all that matters. You will be left alone after that because people will know that you are willing to escalate the situation to any extent necessary. ❤️🙏🏼

Girl, you are a bad ass B! You were about to do some gangsta reconstructive surgery on that shower line jumper.... Im absolutely messing with you! I can't even imagine all the types of things you had to encounter while doing your bid. I found your channel before your Mat Cox video. I like your channel. I had a friend from CT that im almost positive did time, either with you there or very close to there in Florida, and the same years overlapped. In a previous video, you mentioned all the women who get themselves caught up. End up where you were. It made me think if you girls crossed paths. I do not want to put her out there on front street, but im curious if she bidded the way she portraited in letters of correspondence I had with her?Unfortunately, after she did do her 5 clip. She messed up again. At this point, i haven't heard anything from her. I hope she is ok and not locked up or worse. Regardless, I will see if i can connect with you to ask? Thanks for putting your content out there.

however in your case if this particular incident that you talked about in this video happened the way you say it did you did the right thing. especially considering that if you didn't other prisoners would see it as a weakness so like you say you had no choice. of course this just underlines the fact that prison is all about power and empathy of any kind is seen as a weakness. and the fact that for example there are drugs in prison and often times guards are involved in it kind of defeats the purpose of law enforcement in prison in general. and the ones who should be punished the most don't always get all of what they deserve and worse Vice versa. and that defeats the idea of what law is supposed to be in a first place.

It doesn't matter. What she said is true regardless. If there is a line for something, and somebody jumps the line, you have to confront them, and if they don't back down, you have to fight. If you don't, everybody will know that you are weak, and they'll try to jump the line on you next time and the next time and the next time. The only way to stop the cycle is to fight. It doesn't matter if it's a men's jail, women's jail, men's prison, or women's prison.

interesting video. But when I first started to watch videos like this I felt some level of sympathy for prisoners. But right now I only feel sympathy for those who are actually innocent. (there are very few cases like this but they do exist) but people who were in prison usually are not the ones who were victims and some of the influences who talk about their experiences in prison are hypocrites and someone who is upset about their prison sentence while believing that others should go to prison for longer time then they did despite that their own crimes were serious and this person's crime was very minor (infect perfectly legal in some places). simply because they didn't think this person wasn't cool enough (if I can use this very idiotic phrase so early in the morning. and yes it sounds like something a teenager would say but that is what it boils into just in more annoying way). while those who committed true crimes like murder for example should be cuddled because they are a well known rapper or something like that. now this other person didn't serve their sentence because they were able to negotiate their release. and they also were famous (if it would be someone like me they would have just left me there while those like former prisoners would be happy about it) so they had enough to be released considering that in US their crime would be very minor or not crime at all. but if someone believes that this person should go to prison for possession of marijuana while someone who committed murder shouldn't because they are higher on "cool" factor according to the former prisoners. even though they themselves did lots of things much worse than possession of marijuana (in their case not murder but number of robberies and sometimes armed (the one they were cough on the gun had no bullets it was just used as intimidation factor but this is still much more serious crime than possession of marijuana for personal use) sometimes not but intimidation robbery nonetheless. and this is hypocrisy but I must have been insane to expect anything more from a criminal.
