I played flunder at this same event but went x-4 with a more stun based variant (d fissure and macro cosmos on top of the shifters along with an Icarus attack), an additional crow in the main as well as a third book of moon, a gold sarc, a harpist, 3 extravs instead of 3 prosperities, and 1 empen/1 snowl instead of 2 empen. I even sided 2 anti-spells to go with the dark simorgh, 3 raigekis to pair with the dark rulers, a red reboot, and the flunder counter trap which won me games on its own. Played against the mirror match in round 3 and it had the ash blossoms and the additional back row removal unlike mine. Anyway, congrats on winning the event, and I may have to change my deck up a little after watching this.

Oh cool, you might have seen me then, personally i think icarus attack and snowl arent that good but macro cosmos and d fissure are great and people shod test that more.

i cant afford the prosperity set. if i use pot of extravagance, how does the extra deck change? and should i only use 2 extravagance 3 duality instead?

Okay so what you are suppose to do is play 3 extrav 3 duality. And in the extra deck you play 6 slots that out the zombie world 6 slots for the mechaba engine and the rest is whatever

@@cheekydevil7404 I was the highest x-1 at the start of round 8 and got paired up to an undefeated and won I thought i had a good chance of being paired up again to you round 9 but i guess the tiebreakers made it so i wasn't the highest x-1 anymore (my only loss was the swordsoul guy you beat round 8)

what is your opinion on quiet life and precious cards from beyond? in the ocg most floo players use vanitys emptiness, so quiet life might be a good alternative.

Personally in most of the current builds that card is bad because flowander doesn't really benefit from plain card advantage, it wins by having certain cards and it's engine rolling which quite life doesn't help at doing. But i do believe a build that runs a ton of handtraps and that card can maybe work but then you unftunatly cannot use extrav or prosperity

I have moon mirror shield in side deck because I can’t find an other solution against unaffected cards what do you think about that ?

Not worth playing imo since if it does come to that point they will probably have an unaffected monster plus a negate so moon mirror doesn't help there. Also no one even makes unaffected monsters so doubt that will come up to often
