One tip for ihram on flight is to go to the handicap washroom, it has more space. Another tip is to wear the lower garment under a thawb pre boarding and then just put the top portion on in flight before crossing miqaat

I would normally travel with a thobe and put on the bottom portion of the ihram under the thobe in the airport bathroom, so once the flight approach the meeqat i just remove the thobe and put on the top portion of the ihram and make the intention.

JazakAllah Khair. You will love Umrah in Ramadan. I think it may be a few hours between Magrib and Isha (you will need to check exact timings when you go). First umrah we landed at fajr then did umrah after jummah. It was only hard because of me sitting in the heat. apart from that it was fine. I would say you can do iftari at the haram, then take a taxi to Miqat and then you can do umrah. I would say after your initial umrah just spend a few days not doing umrah and enjoying isha, tarweeh and then qayam . hope that helps.
