I always find it interesting how people find their favorite team. There are a number of Tiger players that I think should be in the HOF. Sweet Lou and Freehan come to mind. I grew up not far from where Sam Crawford grew up. Great VR.

Thanks for watching. I agree that Sweet Lou & Freehan should go into the HOF; however, I also believe Lolich belongs there. // How is Wahoo, Nebraska?

Wahoo is a small farm town. I actually videoed on location in Wahoo for a Sam Crawford video. I will likely post it this spring sometime.@@concretebuddy59

Wonderful choice in teams, if I do say so myself. Love the 34 Gehringer, one of my favorite cards.

Thanks for the feedback. I figured you would be happy that I was a Tigers fan too.🙂

Nice VR for Dan and I like the cards you chose to show, George. I really like so many of Kaline’s cards and many other Tigers because of their connection to Lakeland. The 71 is a cool image. The Rays are a good organization and I like going to their games. It’s always a fun time!

Thanks Hugo. It's always fun going to a game at the Trop.

Ohh man, Even Longoria. One of my favorite players of today's ERA. I probably say that about a lot of guys. Lol. I wonder if he will retire this year. I look up to see if anyone is interested in signing him and have not heard anything. Always enjoy buddy and thanks for sharing with us. Love some kaline as well.

Thanks for watching Steve. // I like Longo, but it might be time for him to step aside; however, I would like him to reach 2000 career hits. // Kaline has always been one of my favorites. /// Let's go Rays in 2024. 🙂

I always had a soft spot for the Tigers growing up too, mainly because my first baseball glove was a Mickey Lolich model. I like that Honus Wagner...also reminds me of some calendar photos that were produced, probably around the same time. Have a great week George.

Thanks for watching & thanks for the feedback. I have always been a fan of Mickey Lolich too. By the way, besides those Honus Wagner playing cards, they made a Lou Gehrig deck of cards too. I don't have the Gehrig, but I have seen it and it is cool too.

Thanks for the feedback Jay. I agree about the 1971 Topps Kaline. It's neat to see Kaline swinging in that card.

Nice VR George. If you’re a fan of a newer franchise it is nice to follow an older franschise too. Especially, if you like vintage cards as well. Love that Goudey Gehringer. Nice Cobb too.

Thanks for watching Terry. I do tend to gravitate toward Tiger players in vintage cards.

Tigers and Rays oh my! Who are you taking if they meet in the ALCS? Great VR, cards and stories. It's always nice to hear how other collectors inspire us to find new cards. Take care 👊⚾

Thanks for watching. I always favor the Rays over the Tigers, but it is easier if they don't play each other.

George that was a great VR! I didn’t know you are a Tigers fan…such a great team with a rich history!! I also likes how you picked two cards that looked similar but were over 50 years apart! So cool my friend!!

Didn’t the tigers at one time have spring training in the Tampa area?
@concretebuddy5910 ай бұрын
Yes, the Tigers have their Spring Training in Lakeland. The Tigers have been there since the 1930s. Lakeland is midway between Tampa & Orlando. Lakeland is about 45 miles outside of Tampa.
