My 2-Way Playsharp is CLUTCH in The Rec with Randoms! NBA 2K24 Rec Gameplay + Build Tutorial

This RARE 6'4 2-Way Playmaking Sharpshooter build is hands down one of my favorite builds to bring into the Solo Rec - but I made this build early in the cycle of the game, and if I could remake it there are definitely some things I would change. In this video, I show my build and then I jump into the builder to briefly discuss and show the changes I would make (for those interested in making a similar build) and finally I'll take my build into the rec with randoms to see what we can do!

Y’all got any tips for taking middys? I want to take them but it seem like it’s almost never available to take them. I can create space sometimes but 7/10 times it just seems not it’s not there. Am I just looking at the space wrong or is there something yall tend to look for to know it’s there to take or not?

Love what you've been doing with those 2 ways this year. Offense heavy builds are cool but nobody will let you take 40 shots while being a cone on defense, especially when playing with randoms. There's no better feeling than having an impact on both ends of the floor, even as a small guard, but you need the tools for that. Personally I'm not going to the rec if it's to hide in the corner for half the damn game.

Dimework can you please test out the Rajon Rondo Template the build is very interesting cause it come with unique layup animation getting Giannis layup package if you keep the template attributes I feel like it be a unique experience to see the build played by you although the shooting is below average for a guard build I feel that u can manage with your IQ and skill set

I always knew rec randoms were bad but I gave random rec another chance today and it made me want to uninstall. First game, I had 65 and 14 and I got called a ball hog by someone who was 2/12. Second game, I have 32 and 18 but we lost. My teammates were too busy arguing about pulling up on each other to hit an open shot when it mattered 😂😂. And the final game, I had 36 and 12, lost in OT because the center kept jumping himself out of position for boards and leaving the big open for standing dunks. It’s crazy man. I commend you for doing this consistently, I can’t lol, I’d be wanting to pull my hair outta my head.

I just try not to let them get to the rim. That’s the best you can do. I still get solid contests most of the time though. Sometime Challenger even pops up in the paint.

Unpluckable Gold is nice…but I have a few PGs with 80s ball handle and it’s okay. Just have to be more cautious when you play guys who have high Steal.

On top of that "analyze the floor" tip, I think players need to utilize the triple threat more. Seen so many possessions where someone starts dribbling and they didn't get the momentum to score because they just started spamming moves instead of getting some easy speedboost from a jab step or a spin. If I'm catching the ball and I wasn't on the move, I never start dribbling without starting in the triple threat. Easy stuns and anklebreakers too with a mid Ball Handle rating just because of Triple Strike
