My first IS was also an '06 350 and I absolutely LOVED that thing! Traded it in for a 2016 IS350 FSport at 210K miles, damn cars are bulletproof if you take care of them. 🥰 I do not remember dark emblems for the 2nd gen, but there were Black Line editions for the 3rd gen. So it's possible the previous owner put those on it. It's sad the previous owner didn't get the door panels replaced; but in his/her *light* defense, Lexus was not too open about it. At the time I saw a post about the replacement on the old IS Freaks Facebook page, asked my dealer about it, and they were like..."Oh yeah, we can swap them out." They quickly changed the dash and the front door cards, but dragged their feet on the back doors. Ultimately had to complain to the higher ups on Twitter to force them to do the work. That experience aside, the IS line is a gem. I drove mine in ECT PWR mode all day every day and had no issues getting in and out of traffic. 😈 Look forward to the rest of the build, new follower here. appreciate the follow my man! and i’m in a bunch of lexus IS group chats on facebook as well and yea i do wish the owner would’ve gotten these door panels and dash replaced but it’s alright. Thanks for all the info and stay tuned i got some new stuff for my car i’ll be posting soon!

Nice car bro. I got an 06 one as well pushing 260k mostly oil changes and a serpentine belt replacement. Shifts smooth and still smacks most n/a v6s and turbod i4s

Picked one up month ago same color w 120k! So in lovveeee. Also ordered the 1792 & getting muffler delete for first mod bc she’s too quiet haha.

For the stick door panels/dash you can try the sticky dash coating, it works well and removes the stickiness, you can also try and fill in the nicks with their filler stuff too

I have the lexus 2006 is350 , lmao i just got those same headlights 3 days ago n yeah my bumper is chipped too 😅 , next im put on the carbon fiber hood and your gonna get more than 100,000 in those cars the transmission be running hella good
