My new to me 2019 GT PP1 had it cold and a little warm. Changed oil to 10 qts of 5w/30 Penzoil ultra platinum and 2 cans of ceretec and although Ford says it is normal etc it was annoying and it is gone completely now.. plus the car is soo much smoother running etc with the ceretec. I recommend it.

There is a f 150 2016 video u tube same noise , it's the throttle body valve bouncing onto the body noise he pulls the air intake tube off you can see it happen . I may do that to know .

This was the first video I saw, because I too have a ‘21 Ford Mustang GT 10 speed mode. And after having my first oil change after the 5000 mile mark (over 5800) in late June, it wasn’t until some time in mid July that I had noticed the engine tick, and of course that’s when it starts at a cold startup. It eventually goes away after use of my vehicle. Nevertheless I will still get it looked into at the Ford dealership.

I have a 2016 bought brand new with three miles on it. It started making that very same noise when the oil was changed after the first thousand miles. Dealership claimed they couldn't hear anything. I discovered that after leaving the same oil in the car for over two thousand miles, the noise went away. It suggests to me that it involved engine break in. Maybe the oil from the factory has an additive in it not meant to be drained before three thousand miles perhaps. My car now has 6800 miles on it, have not heard the sound in more than 2000 miles.

Hello. I'm from Poland, I have a Mustang Gt 2017 from the news, I have a tick sound, I have over 20,000 miles and it's still ticking saund all the time. I'm pouring it 10 at 30 amsolil now and see how it works. I haven't had the noise increase after more miles. This does not affect the engine so that it has long stopped working, change the oil to 10 in 30 synthetic amsolyl has the same parameters as the Ford. Good luck

The car is beautiful don't be scared no car is perfect even a Mercedes or even a Lamborghini. Just allow the dealership to take notes that you were concerned and right before your warranty is over have them to check everything. You will be okay I haven't heard that on mine. It’s cool bro Ford can’t make a v8 properly . If you wan’t a silky quiet v8 , buy a TOYOTA . PISTON SLAP AND ENGINE RATTLES ARE PART OF THE FORD DRIVING experience .Aren’t you hlad you bought a mustang ? Oh almost forgot .The stability control is lethal in the wrong hands, something about the car knowing where you want to go and brake stabbing each front wheel to put right into that gutter you wanted to drive over .

Usually, is due to lower brand name fuel and regular octane. I have seen Chevron and Shell bring out with hand trucks. Large Additives Hence Techron or V-Power. The Ticking is due to carbon build upon the valves, switch to either of these brands and the engine will last for 10 to 15 years. Unical and Mobile as well Sinclair 🧑🏻🦱🤘🏻🏎️🏁. Congratulations on your 5.0,. 5 months ago I bought the only one with the following combination: 2022 in White V8 Mustang, with the 3rd Pedal 6 Speed Manual Transmission 🧑🏻🦱🤘🏻🏎️🏁 It's a 2022 Roush Mustang with S/N: 22.0001.450R and I would not sell it for $1Million USA dollar

Yes< I have seen the Attendant wheel out Huge Bag of the Additive in Chevron, and it's what I use on my 2022 Roush Mustang no Issues.. it's still Breaking in... Roush Boutique Dealerships has Full Warranty if they install them. Ticking is also Valves adjusting... But highly Recommend Chevron, Shell, Mobil, Unical 76. Stay away from Arco, Valero, or other Private Owned Check engine Came out on my 2016 with the CostCo or Alternative cheaper ...you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. scenario. Always use Chevron on my Roush now it's cheaper than a 76 i used to use. All Fuels do come from the same Refinery, the difference is the Additive that is Stirred afterwards. 👨🏻👍🏻🏎️🏁🚩 Don't worry man as long as it is a 5.0 there will never be any problems
