Suggs at 5 is slowly starting to look more respectable. It'll never ofc be the right pick due to Sengun and Wagner being picked later, (unless ofcourse those two stop developing or even fall off, and Suggs blooms even more late, turning into a prime Kyle Lowry type player) but it looks less crap since they hit so well on Wagner.

I really like the idea of re-visiting draft classes from previous years to see how accurate our predictions and reactions were. I can honestly say, Krispy was right and wrong about the Scottie Barnes pick. He was wrong because the Raptors knew exactly what they were doing and Scottie is clearly one of the best in the 2021 draft class. Krispy was right because having Scottie, OG and Siakam on the team is redundant. Masai and Bobby saw that and now OG and Pascal are playing for different teams. That was a genuine reaction I'm sure MOST fans had.

16:09 in fairness, the Warriors went on to win the title this year, Kuminga played 18 regular season games in a row as a starter with Dray out on a back injury, Moody played as a rotation piece in the playoffs, and no one could have predicted Draymond punching Poole before the start of the second year for these players, drawing a line between vets and young players, forcing the Warriors to play two way players like Lamb over their lottery picks. Moody is injured right now, but he was scoring 20pts+ in his last couple games before injury and Kuminga is having a break out season with 7 games in a row over 20pts. Now Warriors aren't looking great, but both of these players are bright spots for their future, and were helpful as rookies in their championship season.

As a Magic fan, I wasn’t for Scottie Barnes dued to his inconsistency on shooting the rock. The Magic from The previous regime would draft athletic front court players with no consistent shooting ability. Didn’t want Barnes nor Kuminga due to this. Truth is I rather the Magic traded the pick that would turn into Jalen Suggs. Didn’t realize Barnes would turn out to be a solid player. It was the issue to be drafted to the right team. As for Suggs, he’s solid on defense and still is improving on his offense.
