Hi Brenna! I actually had the very same spot that you had last year at the Home and Garden show, this year. I agree with Sara! What I expected and what happened was very different! I definitely expected larger crowds, and I would question doing it again! I did get a chance to meet Sara, though, which was a treat!😁

As a fellow small business, it's nice to hear someone talk about a profitable market in terms other than, "my booth fee x some arbitrary number". Don't get me wrong, I know everyone is entitled to run their business how they chose but it never made sense to me. I also decide if a market is worth it or not based on a $ per hour model. Because if I'm not making at least that number I'm losing money by sitting around and waiting for shoppers.

I love this style of video. Thank you for being transparent about how much you make at markets. It’s motivating to me and makes me want to do more markets! But I agree, burn out by the holidays is a real thing, which is hard for me cause usually the holidays are my biggest earning markets.
