I have a 2024 Xlt hybrid just hit 20k. I have many of the same complaints. 0 mechanical issues love the truck. But the info center freezes and acts slow WAY too many times for a brand new truck. And I shouldn't have to hit ok 6 times to drive the truck. And last but not least having to put it in eco every single time. I wish it just stayed in the last mode it was in.

Thanks for watching! Sounds like you're putting some serious miles on it-great to hear you're not running into major issues. Are you using it with an Android phone too? I just upgraded to the Pixel 9 Pro, and it seems to have smoothed out some of the display glitches I had with Android Auto. Still, the cheap interior plastics are driving me crazy!

Nice indepth video. I'm also a wider gentleman which causes the seatbelt to scratch my center console; if you take a felt furniture pad and stick it to the back of the buckle, it with stop the scratching.

That is a brilliant tip about the furniture pad. I am literally doing this today!

It’s a truck be it a small truck, it’s going to get a few battle scars, don’t park it beside of other vehicles walk a little ways, it won’t hurt you a bit. Ford Sync sucks got it on my F150 and it seems to have a mind all its own, honestly these lil trucks look great. Enjoyed the video! I laugh at all the people talking about how bad modern vehicles were, in the late 60’s early 70’s nobody would by a use vehicle with 80k on them cause they were shot, nobody got 150k out of them.

Thanks for watching! I agree, I like the look of these little guys. It serves my purposes amazingly well!

Fantastic point! I hate having to switch to the eco mode each time.

@@jamzdotnet I wonder if they will have a fix for that?

I'd never waste my money on these overpriced tin cans.

You have no money.

I mean .. $24k for a 2023 Hybrid truck was amazing for me .. especially for how I use it. What would you waste your money on?
@ilc-nl3yy14 күн бұрын
@@jamzdotnet I understand, but it's still a lot of money for poor quality. Jim Farley even said their quality control issues won't be fixed for several years. I would've bought the previous generation Ranger. I had a 94 Ranger with the 4.0 and put 265k miles on it. I hope you get many miles with yours.
@jamzdotnet14 күн бұрын
@@ilc-nl3yy It seems all modern-day cars are poor quality. Look at the endless recalls! I will keep this up to 150,000 miles. At that point, I'll probably let it go. My Silverado, 2003, has 300,000 miles and runs like a tank. I'm not convinced many new cars will ever see those kinds of miles. They are squeezing these little engines for everything and putting them to the limits. The CVT transmissions also worry me.

@jamzdotnet It's a shame that even Toyota and Honda are having quality control issues.
