Aloha Brian from Brian's Vinyl Records. Congratulations on your RSD purchases! I myself participated in RSD here in Honolulu Hawaii. This was my most spent on RSD for me too. I also was fortunate enough to purchase a Taylor Swift for myself also thanks to a young person in line who encouraged me to buy it . I myself got at the record shop at 3:30 am, & was # 7 in line. The first family (3 people) in line got there at 12 midnight. 2nd 2am , 3rd 3am then myself at 3:30am. I purchased total of (30) RSD titles that Saturday. I'm trying to listen to one album a day for 30 days. , but it won't be easy, I'm leaving the box set's for the weekend's. Thank you for sharing your RSD PURCHASES! Which place did you do first? I went to DITV Maple Grove first and then tried to go to Mill City but the place was jam packed with people.

Sorry you are not feeling too well. I also had a big haul this year for RSD. I also grabbed the Isbell and the Soul Asylum. On top of those I grabbed the Warren Zevon, The Pogues, Amythyst Kiah, Chet Baker, Donovan Woods, and the Taylor Swift for my daughter. But I’m sure I’ll give it a spin as well. Cheers, Brian ☘️

You picked up some great ones. The Jason Isbell album was gone by the time I got there. I'm a fan of The Cactus Blossoms and recently saw them in concert. They were amazing.

RSD claimed it was an exclusive, but Pearl Jam has already put up a different color variant on their Ten Club store, so take that for what it is. I'm not too worried about my heath. Dealing with some eye issues, but the medication has me exhausted. It will pass.

All the stores I visited on RSD were packed. More people like you said than on any other past RSD days. The crowds like you said were due to the Taylor affect and not a bad overall list. Enjoy your pickups!

Yeah. There were a bunch of Taylor fans, but a bunch of non-Taylor fans as well. This year's list was fantastic for everyone.

I stopped going to Record Store Day several years ago because I feel the hype and all of the lines have made it ridiculous and no longer fun. On Sunday, the day after RSD I lucked out and found a dealer at a swap meet in Las Vegas that had many 2023 RSD exclusives for sale all at their original prices. I picked up the Eric Carr solo album and the Van Halen album from him. He even still had the Taylor Swift album for $39.99 but I passed on it so hopefully a real Taylor Swift fan could buy it.

Not a Taylor Swift fan, but we need more people like you! Been trying to get the The Midnight Live LP but re-sellers are a pain in the ass price-wise. Just to get profit and making the real fans suffer in the process.

The lines don't bother me. Part of the fun on RSD is chatting with the people around you. Seeing the old faces of people that have been in the lines with you year in and year out. It's a community. It was easy cold this year, but I still had a good time

Eh the prices aren't really that much different. They have always been high on some things. My albums averaged out around $32
