Another REALLY good book that came out this year was Dandelion Audit, written by Andrew Givler. He is one of the best Authors I have read and I think you should definitely read his books.

I was waiting for the angry gushing over Pierce Brown, and I wasn’t disappointed, lol. I loved hearing your personal opinions and reasoning behind your choices. Knowing your personal preferences for tropes and styles makes it easier to see which books I might enjoy a bit more than you did, just due to differences in preference. So many series that I need to pick up this year!

For some odd reason, I like writing but don’t like reading. Maybe it’s something to do with my autism, I still love your books since they’re very inspiring to my books. They’re a continuation of Tui T. Sutherland’s Wings of Fire book series. I’d suggest you read ‘em.

@GivReads I recommend that you read Dungeon Crawler Carl. It's a LitRPG that has scifi, fun as he'll power progression, and an interesting plot line.

The main character is nomal guy that slowly gets more and more insane. And his companion is his cat that evolves.

Have you read much (or any) Dean Koontz? He's been a favorite of mine since late middle school. He's not pure SciFi by any stretch, but he dabbles in multiple genres and regularly mixes them in ways that drive publishers crazy. His late 1980s book LIGHTNING is among the best he's written and is certainly in the world of science fiction (though not fantasy).

The elder empire series is worth checking out, it is written by Will Wight, the way the story is written is very interesting because there are two trilogies in the series playing out at the same time following two people that are working against eachother. The magic system is also very cool. Plus there is a cool plot twist in the third book of sea worth leaving to last.

Not sure when you’re going to do a Q&A for star summit. I have just began reading the book, and have a question. How come, Matt is not half Fae. Because it is mentioned that Alex, even though he has only has little bit of demon blood, still has some of the power, such as strength, and longer life. Even though Matts father was an immortal fairy, Matt does not have some of the powers of the Fae. Maybe its mentioned in star Summit, but just one question I have.(hope that makes sense lol) Love the books!

There’s a q&a thing on community tab right now you should go ask your question, will admit I asked a very similar question but it’s different enough he might not answer yours while answering mine lol.

Yeah. You made the right choice DNF-ing Poppy War. If you weren't loving the direction, then you won't like the rest. I wish I had DNF'D. Totally understand what you mean about Gardens of the Moon. I really want to love Malazan, but I don't know if it's really for me. I've only read the first two books.

@@asdfdsa9681 there was very little that I did like about the series after Rin left the academy in the first book. Rin is incredibly annoying 90% of the time. She's overly confident but isn't in control of her power at all and is often basically useless. The whole "magic system" is incredibly soft and inexplicable. Things just happen for reasons and I struggled to really latch on to anything. Every character is written like a middle school boy who just discovered the F-word. The way the series ends is pretty problematic in my opinion and there are other problematic things through the series as well. All in all, I didn't enjoy my time reading 2.5 of the books and I don't understand the hype.

@@tgibridays Fair enough I've not read many fantasy books so I cant compare it to other books. But yeah I agree with the character development of Rin hasnt been the best.

Sigils (I'm sorry if you'd rather be called something different) why don't you advertise this channel more? Like on your gaming channel? I know you mentioned it a couple times when talking about book stuff. However, (I'm not trying to sound rude or anything here i'm just genuinely curious) don't you want the most amount of people to get the information you put out on this channel? You might not see this comment so if anyone else has any thoughts please let me know.
