You are right it is even more interesting in the snow & ice - winter driving with rear wheel drive + 200PS

The id GTI is the first VW group EV I've actually been interested in. I've got a mk8 GTI Clubsport at the moment and I've been dreading having to move to an ev until I saw what the future could bring!

Yes the news of a GTI electric car does sounds exciting! It will have to be great to match your MK8 GTI Clubsport but it feels like a step in the right direction for those like us who want a fun car to live with 👍

First of all I always enjoy watching your content. Always honest and informative. I test drove a pre face lift id3 yesterday and was impressed. The facelift ones I really can’t tell the difference plus to expensive. I saw one on Autotrader the other day £47k which is ridiculous! The pre face lift ones are going for around £23-25 for a few years old and a decent spec. I felt just from a drive down the rd that it would be a easy car to live with. I only had it in eco mode but loads of instant torque and liked the regen braking. The finance deal the salesman offered me was decent as well. The only thing that put me off like yourself was not having a home wall box. If I had one then I would of definitely purchased as car was only a couple of years old and had the pan roof which was nice.

@@SamAustin your very welcome. I had to think long and hard about buying one but it was not having a wall box at home that made my decision.Not sure how much public charging would be but until I get a wallbox I won’t be buying a electric car.
