My 2024 Candle Collection: Yankee Candle (Hoping it will grow this year 😊)

Continuing with my 2024 Candle Collection Series, I am sharing with you my entire Yankee Candle collection. While I admit that it makes me a little sad that I own the least amount of candles from this iconic brand, 2024 is looking up for Yankee. Their new reformatted 3 wick products launched on January 22 and I am definitely intrigued by this new offering from them.

While I was raising boys, ( I did have 2 girls later in life), going to the Yankee Candle store in my nearby mall was such an exciting stop. It was the “girliest” Mom treat that I felt OK putting my boys through! That was before cell phones and internet. You had to actually GO in, and sniff out your favorite! Choosing a candle to make the family room smell wonderful was such a big decision, and pricey! I have so many oldies, and hide my ridiculous Yankee collection in a huge cabinet, and the scent memories bring me so much joy!

My mom used to bring me along to all of the boutiques that sold Yankee & we would do the same thing. Sniff & sniff & we could only afford one at a time, so I also have scent memories tied to so many Yankee Candles 😊. That’s partly why I’m excited to see them make an attempt at the 3 wicks.

Im so glad you highlight Yankee too. I enjoy having some in my stash - they bring back so much nostalgia for me. I had trouble mid burn with the wicks too on the tumblers, but I haven't had that issue at all with the signature jars. I have switched to those and had flawless burns! Thanks for the video Katie!

Hi Katie, I enjoyed this video. I do have this thing where I don't like to put away half used candles and mixing them with unburned candles. I am now rethinking this after watching your video. I am happy to hear that Yankee changed the size of their 3-wicks. I can now use my BBW holders with the new 3-wicks. I was fortunate to work at a Yankee Candle store for 13 years, retiring in 2020. They have had some beautiful and classic fragrances over the years, so I am hoping they get back into the swing and make an impact in the candle community once again! I do love BBW and Kringle and Homeworx candles as well. A big congratulations on hitting 1,000 subscribers! You have a very calming and easy-to-listen-to voice. Looking forward to your next video! Thank you! Yes, I decided that it’s ok to put back partially burned candles once I started keeping track of how much I was spending on them 😳😂. Might as well get my money’s worth out of them. I ordered two of the Yankee reformatted 3 wicks yesterday, so I will keep you all posted on how they perform. 😊

Woooo, Katie congrats on hitting 1K subs! Paraffin wax jars is what I mostly burn from Yankee (next three to burn are New England Maple, Alpine Mint, and Cookie Swap) and unfortunately some have been duds. I do not do anything to have that perfect burn. I'm curious if you will be buying Yankee's dupes i.e. Island Cooler for Bahama Breeze and Relaxing Lavender for Lemon Lavender. Nice small collection. I'm excited to see it grow. I have over 100 in my repertoire, Home Inspiration and American Home included.

@@katiesjoyfullife Nice! I hope they throw well. Connor already has some reviews of them on his channel. Btw, Relaxing Lavender will be burned this Spring lol. Just started New England Maple and quite a strong throw. I assume you'll be keeping the vessels and use them to store things in just like Melanie. Just bought the last Homeworx candle at Marshall's, my backup of Winter's Eve at $13.00.
