Oh, Will, you had high hopes for your team USA, reaching the semi finals, but in reality it was eliminated in the groups stage. Also, you had too high expectations for a player who is already 37 years old, Messi. That prediction of best player and top scorer has not happened. The best player is being James Rodriguez. Top scorer is Lautaro Martínez so far.

Yeah. Heart over head beat me on this one. But I’m glad I said “if Argentina don’t win then Colombia will..” since they were my dark horse pick to win the whole thing. Messi being this disappointing has honestly shocked me but that’s maybe due to league he’s playing in mixed with his fitness bc he’s been carrying a bit of a knock the whole tournament.
