Happy New Year Jen. Sorry you have been ill and hope you're feeling much better now. 😊 You have had a busy year finishing such a lot of canvases which are all lovely (the dragon is a bit iffy!!!😂). I'm taking a leaf out of your book for 2025 and am going to randomise my kit choices and going on a 'mindful' no-buy to try and reduce my current stash. 😮 All the best for 2025 to you and yours. 😊

Thanks Bev. I’m back already 🤣 but I took a time off over Christmas. I finished the canvas round about Dec 22 or 23 (can’t remember which) and didn’t pick up a drill pen again until 3rd Jan. It was good to take a break.

Oh my gosh! I am currently working on Marine to Life as I watch! I started this beast in May of 2022 and am determined to finish by this May. These are totally not my colors but I do love the image. Yours is gorgeous and is very motivating!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. Yes it took me a while to do. Maybe 2 months which is quite slow for me. It is amazing how we all diamond paint differently and at different paces. That is one of the things I love about this hobby. You will love the completed canvas. Now to find a frame!

Thanks for the response, I am SUPER slow! But I usually have three or four WIPs to change things up. I started Firefly Fireworks for New Years- I’m a glutton for punishment! Switched back to Marine after doing the grass. I’m determined to finish before I go back to the others, I’m about 2/3 done. I’ve got the frame from Island Life which is the same size but have gotten to where I prefer to just paint the outline canvas black and pin it on the wall or hang them from clamp curtain holders on fancy wall hooks so I can change them out easily. Fortunately I have a tolerant husband, they’re all over our house! Please keep posting completions! I love this time of year and seeing everyone’s stash coming to life!

Fourth of July and Thanksgiving are very important holidays and the months are known for them. I don't think you can ask them to blow off those important seasonal holidays for their American customers.

Hi. You are absolutely correct and make a very valid point. I think this is a case of you can’t please everyone. This was just my personal opinion on the images as a non-American.

Waaaaaa how dare they focus on US holidays. Geeeee it’s an American based company. We love our holidays. It’s fine don’t buy the calendar then. Also I am Canadian and I don’t cry over 4th of July…. Sheesh .

Thanks for your comment. I agree, everyone is passionate about their national holidays and they should be celebrated. I was simply making the point that although DAC is an American company they have customers in dozens of countries all over the world and their opinions also matter. You could also argue that why show winter scenes in December, January and February when in Australia these are summer months. You cannot please all the people all the time, but you can in the very least respect their opinions.
