Real good choices, better than lots only thing I’d change is the tube sleeper . You don’t want to be stuck in a sandwich bag for a mountain lion get a good quality tarp like aququest or similar and read up on building shelter using tarp. Great job !

Really great video, gave me a few ideas I hadn’t thought of. I really like those portawipe tablets. I already put a bulk 500 pack with 5 storage tubes in my cart so i can stash them various places one being my bugout bag! Thank you 👍

Thank you for the video. I like to avoid wearing blue or red bandanas so as to not send an unintended signal of gang affiliation in urban areas.

Great video. I loved the fact that you "Thanked" other creators for the knowledge and inspiration to pass along what you learned.

I'd definitely keep two bandanas in my get home bag. I might keep leather work gloves in my bag too.

Uk too, my idea of an emergency bag is for get home or can’t get home, ie stuck in the car in snow or after a breakdown, with kids (got the T shirt).

Great run through of your bag... quick, concise and to the point. One recommendation I would make is take your bag out and ruck with it. I learned a lot by doing that, walking on sidewalks, through the woods, etc. It helped me pick the bag that was comfortable enough to use as a 2 day get home bag and narrow down what I wanted to weigh myself down with and what could go.

I live 42 miles from my home to my job one way, Im not in the greatest physical shape, so I keep a walking stick ( it has a spike on the ground end ,covered by a cap) in my car, if I had to walk that far my stick would help alleviate some pressure on my back and legs, and it would be a nice extended self defense tool as well.

Ditch the shock cords for shoe laces change to para cord. Shock cords will degrade quickly in the heat and it will loosen up over time. Plus para cord will give you extra cordage while still providing laces if you have to remove the insides

Great job. I saw a few things I didn't have but would like to add. I really do wish you would have added links to where things could be found though... like the mini radio or the bear bell...that would have been very helpful. I subbed after watching this video.

Thank you so much. Most of these items can be found on Amazon. I'm still trying to figure out this YT thing, so hopefully I'll have links at some point. Please feel free to share my channel with anyone you think may be interested. Take care, and stay tuned!!!

Hey bud I'm from NC. I have a bag made up for 2 days to get me from work to home and that's 23 miles but so much of it is interstate or highway I wear work shoes that are comfortable enough to double as walking shoes. Back up clothes are a must in case of rain or something like that! I've never seen anyone else throw binoculars in their pack other than myself. Never seen the florescent tacks, I like that idea for a cache setup in a bugout scenario. My first pack out was 40lbs and I decided to carry it around a bit, it quickly dropped to 15 lbs. That thermal tent from everything I have seen is horrible, I would recommend replacing that with a fabric waterproof thermal blanket that you can do a burrito roll in. You definitely ain't lying about them damn skeeters! Mossberg MC1 with a extra mag with the Hornady hollow points but man I love that S&W. If you don't want to use a backpack cover you could always cover the external of your back in scotch-bright or some kind of water blocking spray since our idea is to make it home most expeditiously. The only thing that I didn't see in your video that I feel is a must have is a tarp which could also replace that very fragile aluminum foil tent. I appreciate your video and I learned some stuff. I appreciate you sharing this with us and my suggestions are just that! The main thing that I love about this community is the majority of us are humble and the only thing that matters is what's going to be the most helpful to you in your geographical area and circumstances that you have to navigate through. I do really feel like your channel needs more love though! Sub and like here and I hope you keep growing on this platform!

i would also carry one of the light weight 20w solar panels because the power bank charger will take 5 days to charge by its self

Not sure if I missed it but if you have swim goggles because you think you may need to go in the water you should also have a water proof bag big enough to hold your go bag. All your kit will not help if it becomes water logged and you become encumbered upon exiting the water.
@BlueRonin-pe8kx6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the response. So, I'd actually use the swim goggles for eye protection because they're airtight. If I had to make my way through an area where civil unrest was taking place, and tear gas or substances were being used, having a way to protect my eyes would be of utmost importance to me...

Alternative to Grayl is the Bachgold. Company from Germany that makes it. Same concept as Grayl. Fill, press and drink. Costs about 40 bucks less on Amazon than Grayl.

Swimming goggles huh? Who would've thought about using them in case there's smoke, tear gas & pepper spray in the air due to civil unrest.
