I got my first Birkin earlier this year. Sincerely, I have always been a Kelly girl, but I (my husband 😂) purchased it to see what all the fuss was about and I now fully understand the chokehold this bag has on woman. It is really so easy to style, it’s chic and super practical! I love it and so will you!!! My husband ordered me a second one. 🙈 I purchase from Michelle Berk at Prive Porter because I have never been offered a Birkin at the Hermes store that I truly loved enough to purchase.

Lily, have you ever considered the Sac Roulis? I think this bag is hugely underrated and really similar to the Constance. This option is also less ‘shouty’ without the huge H buckle but still quintessentially Hermes with the hardware. Would love to hear your thoughts! ☺️

💯 I do love the Roulis too! I should’ve gone into more detail on the non-quota bags I like other than the Picotin. But totally agree with you on the similarities with the Constance, and have definitely been eyeing some Roulis on the preloved market lately 🤓

Ahh I’m sorry, orange just isn’t my cup of tea 🙈 Napa was lovely (as always). You know, I do like some Ferragamo bags, mainly their bigger ones though. And they are fantastic quality! And yess-the house plant was actually put out to pasture recently 😢 (You’ll still see it in some videos that I’ve already filmed). I was waiting for a friend to come over and see if she could resurrect it… alas, she said it was a lost cause 😂 My black thumb is truly remarkable sometimes lol!

Hi Lily. B30 might be easier and quicker to get offered. Don’t you already have a green colored Chanel coco handbag? I love any gris color family from Hermès. I actually prefer B30 over B25. B25 has great capacity but, I don’t think that the small handles make sense for the bag. I have a B25 for over 2 years now and have asked my SA for a B30 this year. If you get offered a C18 this year, then do you think that it will prevent you from getting a birkin this year too? From my experience I made sure that I get my requested quota bag first before buying any non quota bag. So last year, I turned down a mauve pale c18 and then got a K25 sellier in craie in June and then in Dec I bought the C18 in vert fonce. I just felt that if you didn’t get any bag, then your SA would have a better chance with getting the manager to approve the quota bag for you.

These are all really great points! (And you're right, I do have a green Chanel coco handle... but I just adore green, so am totally into getting more green bags 💚). And yes, a B30 should be a bit easier to get from my boutique, and will likely require a lower pre-spend ratio than a B25/K25 would. So maybe I should aim for a B30 this year over a B25? TBH I’d love either one! And yes, quite a few other folks have also said that accepting non-quota bags can delay you from receiving a quota bag offer, so that's definitely in the back of my mind (and why non-quota bags aren't really my top priority atm). If I could buy non-quota bags without affecting my ability to get a B/K/C, then it would be a totally different story! But I love the sound of both your craie K25 and vert fonce C18--two of my top dream bag/color combos 😍🤗!

Hi Girl, Great wishlist overall. I managed to score a vintage Constance 18 black with box leather last year. It just made me realize that I can focus on getting some vintage gems from Hermes. On my radar now is a vintage black GHW shiny croc Kelly 25. The price is good but I will have to order a strap from Hermes and i have no visibility on how much that will be on top.Would you still take the plunge if you were me?

A box Constance is the dream 😍! You know, ordering another strap can be tough, bc Hermes can’t guarantee that it will be a perfect match. That’s what would give me pause 🙈 But it does sound like a beautiful bag!!

I have a K35 in clemence that is 12 years old and it’s the ultimate cool girl big Kelly. It’s aged beautifully and has just the right amount of slouch to give it that cool vibe. I am still waiting on a C24. I’ve been offered 2 but not in a color I’d like.

I got my 1st Birkin in 2010 as a walk in with no pre-spend, I got my 2nd in 2019 also as a walkin, I had purchased things at this point but not with a a specific SA. Now I have been spending with one SA (dishes, scarves, ready to wear, shoes, etc) and it seems like I won’t be getting another. Lol Unfortunately there is no store where I live so I’m tasked with just trying to ask for one when I travel to a place. If anyone wants to share their SA please do with me. 😅
