I'm taking a step out of your book Ilysse and I'm embracing the word "release" for 2025 because I found there is a lot of areas in my life that could apply and help me feel healthier and happier as I start my early 30's. What a strong word! I’ve done subwords that falls under my word for each quintile (I split my year in 5). It allowed me to experience my word from different perspectives.

My word for the 1st quarter of 2025 is STOP. I'm new to the planning and journaling community, and I have gone overboard with my spending for supplies. Particularly stickers and washi tape. I have been watching too many videos from people like you, and I see things in almost every video that I want! I already have enough to get me through this year and next year, at least. So, I definitely need to put away the credit card and STOP!!! :)

That sounds great! I tend to like phrases because I find them more enticing, so maybe I will use “Cease and Utilize” lol …..(I’ve been meaning to do that for a few years, but maybe this will be the year lol)

Discipline...in my opinion it is both in not doing and also in doing. I will actively discipline myself, to stop doing - especially spending, but also in DOING - things i just dont want to do but i know i need to do. Discipline :)

Pursuit is definitely one of those words that looks weird after you look at it for a long time. My WOTY is going to be "ownership". Someone I know picked "Rebound" and I love that too.
