I have a 2007 honda element, bought it brand new in nov 2006 with 7 miles on it. It now has 350, 000 on it lol. It still drives like its brand new lol. 😮never had any problems with it. Im looking at getting a 2024 honda pilot now.😊

Hey Mindy!! Wish I would have known you were going to be in my neck of the woods! I would have made you dinner and given you a roof for a night or two. So listen, you need to reduce your speed when driving in the wind and snow here, especially on that part of the hwy. I know you have a good vehicle for this type of weather event, but our area is different, sometimes it rains first and black ice is right under that light snow and wind through that area can reach 100+ mph and more. During that storm, we had over 100mph in Carson City. They closed Washoe, 395 and 580 because of blowing snow and people sliding off the road. The raid where there were no cars for you, you also need to be careful with speed. It could be a very long while before someone finds you. So just a word to the wise ok? Nevada is very unpredictable in weather and road conditions. You lucked out getting 9th fixed. It is hard to get into repair shops right now. I go straight to the dealer with my Subaru. You still in Nevada?

What RV insurance do you have? Does it full cover the vehicle + ecamper?

I have regular car insurance with Emerald Insurance in Oregon. I have documented all of the receipts for the modifications for my car. It is registered with the DMV as a camper conversion, and AAA is my RV roadside assistance. I have the same insurance for the Ecamper. Cheers!

V TEC seal, leaking oil and the car is genious because when you try to drive above 45 mph it goes into Limp Mode so that you don't blow your engine. $500 fix and I was on the road in 3 hours. Cheers!

I have the AAA RV roadside assistance as my Honda Element is considered a conversion van that I live out of. Don't wait to buy a Honda Element as they stopped making them in 2011, they are becoming rare now. Good luck, Cheers!

Did you buy an OBDII scanner? I had to get my VTEC solenoid replaced a couple of months ago on my 2011 E.

I do not have a scanner. The seal on my Vtech was worn, so I had been leaking 1 quart of oil between each oil change, which I thought was a lot. There was also a sensor that got water in it. Both were an easy fix and I was back on the road in less than 24 hours. Thanks for watching, Cheers!

@@NinthElement Invest in a scanner. They are very cheap. You might not need it 99.9% of the time, but when you do, you can sort and fix problems efficiently. Give the shop a heads up.
